Uncommitted. Jones was a force on the first day of the 15u National Championship. Displaying a knack for reaching base and consistently working quality at-bats. Collecting two backside singles in his first two AB’s. Showcasing a tremendous feel for the barrel with premium bat-speed to match. The uber-athletic SS/OF was not done there though, catching a barrel in his last at-bat sending one deep into center-field burning the center-fielder, as Jones showed the wheels coming all the way-around to score for an inside-the-park-HR. The hit-tool shined for the uncommitted bat on Thursday night. Jones is a must know name.
