Quick Hits: 2025 New Orleans Summer ID

Alex Armand
Louisiana Scouting Director

New Orleans, LA - On Tuesday, June 3 2025, the Prep Baseball Louisiana staff traveled to the Tulane University, to host our second open event of the summer, which featured over 30 prospects from the 2026-2028 classes.  Each participant went through a pro-style workout that consisted of running a laser-timed 60 yard dash using Vald Performance, defensive evaluations, and batting practice using Trackman Baseball and Blast Motion.  Pitchers finished the day off by throwing a bullpen with Trackman Baseball to receive all of their data and metrics.  Below, we take a look at some of the top performers from Tuesday's event.

Greyson Parker OF / RHP / LA / 2027

6-1, 170 lbs. frame.  Parker put up some eye-popping numbers on Tuesday headlined by the top outfield velocity of the day at a whopping 96 mph.  He also reached a max exit velocity of 98 mph during batting practice and ran a 6.88 laser-timed 60.  His highest upside, however, likely lies on the mound.  A smooth and athletic mover down the slope with a lightning quick arm action, Parker flashed a riding 88-91 mph fastball through the zone.  He paired that with a developing 73-76 mph curveball and 77-79 mph change-up with arm-side sink.

Ayden Bullock LHP / 1B / Riverside Academy, LA / 2026

Physical 6-2, 220 lbs. frame.  Before Tuesday, we hadn't seen the Southern commit since the fall and he showed that he's definitely made some serious jumps.  Working off the third base side of the rubber through a quicker delivery, Bullock used a full arm stroke to release the ball from a high 3/4 slot.  His fastball peaked at 94 mph and stayed 90-93 mph with more control over command.  He flashed both a 76-79 mph curveball and a 78-80 mph slider with the latter looking like the better secondary offering with short lateral break.  Bullock rounded out his repetoire with a 81-83 mph change-up.  Left-handers up to 94 mph don't grow on trees and if Bullock can hone in on his command, then he'll certainly peak the interest of many.

Jason Jr DeCuir RHP / OF / CATHOLIC, LA / 2027

The arms just seem to grow on trees at 855 Hearthstone Drive and DeCuir looks to be another good one coming out of the Catholic BR program.  DeCuir had one of the more impressive bullpens on Tuesday due to the ease in which he operated and the fact that he located each of his offerings extremely well.  He's a really athletic mover down the mound with a compact and quick arm action with a 3/4 release.  His fastball stayed in the 84-87 mph range and he was able to locate it to both sides of the plate down in the zone.  He also showed good feel for a 70-71 mph slider with spin rates up to 2,497 rpm's, as well as a firmer 80-81 mph change-up.  With an atheltic and lean 6-0, 170 lbs. frame, there's considerable projection left as he matures and add strengths.  The arrow is definitely pointing up for DeCuir heading into the rest of the summer.

Arlan Olivier RHP / 3B / Walker, LA / 2026

The uncommitted junior two-way prospect showed considerable improvements across all areas of his game on Tuesday.  He kicked the day off with an event-best 6.68 laser-timed 60 and was also up to 90 mph from the outfield.  Olivier also took one of the better rounds of batting practice on the day.  Using a simple set-up and load, he maintained balance from start to finish and produced consistent line drive contact through the middle of the field with a max exit velocity of 93.6 mph.  He finished the day off by hopping on the mound and showing upside there as well.  Working off the first base side of the rubber through a more up-tempo delivery, he used a compact arm swing to release the ball from a 3/4 slot.  He located his 85-87 mph fastball well and flashed one of the better breaking balls on the day with a sharp near "12-6" downer 72-73 mph slider with sprin rates up to 2,618 rpm's.

Camden Fisackerly RHP / OF / DE LA SALLE HIGH SCHOOL, LA / 2026

Relatively unknown prior to Tuesday, the 6-3, 180 lbs. right-hander made a name for himself with one of the better mound performances on the day.  An easy mover down the slope with a repeatable delivery, Fisackerly used a loose arm stroke to release the ball from a 3/4 slot.  He did a really good job of staying behind and top of his 87-90 mph fastball and kept the pitch down in the zone.  Fisackerly paired that with a short & tight 76-78 mph slider that he landed for strikes and a late-fading 81-82 mph change-up to round out his three-pitch mix.  Uncommitted for now, he's firmly placed himself on a list of must-see uncommitted 2026 arms in the state this summer.
