Each week throughout the high school season, we will announce the Prep Baseball Oregon Pitcher and Hitter of the Week, recognizing standout performances from across the state. With numerous players excelling both at the plate and on the mound, this award will be based on nominations submitted through our POTW Google Form.

Additionally, we will continue our Oregon Diamond Notes to highlight other deserving players nominated by coaches who were not selected as the Pitcher or Hitter of the Week.

This week's Pitcher of the Week is '25 RHP Cooper Yudhishthu (Grant).

OR PITCHER OF THE WEEK (5/26-5/31)

Cooper Yudhishthu RHP / Grant, OR / 2025 Rankings  StateRank: 57 / POS: 11 The senior arm dominated over two playoff appearances for a Grant team that is currently in the state semifinals. Yudhishthu totaled 11 innings last week, allowing just 6 hits and 0 runs while striking out 12 batters. The uncommitted arm shut out the number one ranked team in the state, undefeated South Salem, in one of the biggest upset victories of the spring. Yudhishthu was last seen at PNW State Games last summer.
