Prep Baseball Oklahoma Staff

As we gear up for one of our top invite-only events of the year, the Oklahoma Top Prospect Upperclass Games, we will begin breaking down our notes on each of the prospects who will be in attendance. This year, the Upperclass Games will see many of the state’s top athletes from the 2026 and 2027 classes compete, giving them an opportunity to be seen by numerous college coaches during an open-contact period of recruitment. This year’s event will be held on June 3rd at Oral Roberts University.

Miles Stanley SS / 2B / Mount Saint Mary Catholic High School, OK / 2027

Stanley has a compact build with room to continue to add some more strength. At the plate, has proven to consistently be able to barrel balls up with some pop, maxing out his exit velocity at 93.4 mph. On the mound, he attacks hitters from a high 3/4 arm slot with a short, strong arm action, running his fastball into the upper 70s. He utilizes a slider and a changeup as offspeed offerings.

Zac Stuart C / 2B / Bixby, OK / 2027

Stuart has an athletic frame with room to add strength, standing at 5'10 170 lbs. At the plate, uses a pullside approach, consistently finding the barrel and showcasing some present power, with exit velocity numbers climbing into the lower 90s. Behind the dish, he has been as low as 2.05 with his pop time.

Kaleb Thiessen OF / C / CALUMET, OK / 2026

Another participant in last summer's Future Games, Thiessen has an athletic build with the frame to continue to add strength. At the plate, the switch-hitter has proven able to consistently barrel the ball up and has plenty of pop, with exit velocities climbing into the mid to upper 90s. Defensively he has showcased good arm strength, tossing it in from the outfield at 87 mph.

Jack Tiefenthaler OF / RHP / Jenks, OK / 2026

Measuring in at 6'1 160 lbs, Tiefenthaler has a long, lean frame that will allow him to add more mass and strength. At the plate, he use a short, flat bat path with an uphill finish, and utilized a middle of the field to opposite field approach. On the mound, he attacks hitters from a low 3/4 arm slot, and a low 80s fastball with arm side run was his primary offering. A slider and a changeup round out a three-pitch mix.

Zakary Tucker C / 2B / EDMOND SANTA FE, OK / 2026

Tucker has a lean frame with room to add some more strength, standing at 5'11 162 lbs. At the plate, he has a long, flat bat path through the zone with an uphill finish. He displayed some present power, with a top exit velocity of 88.3 mph. Behind the dish, we've seen him clock pop times as low as 1.98 seconds.

Kaden Twyman C / 3B / Stillwater, OK / 2027

Twyman has an athletic, projectable build, standing at 6'0 175 lbs. He put up big numbers in our most recent look at him, running exit velocities up into the upper 90s, topping out at 98 mph. He showed off some positional versatility, putting down pop times as low as 1.87, while slotting in as the primary first baseman for a talented Stillwater squad this spring.

Wade Webb OF / 3B / MOUNT ST. MARY, OK / 2027

Measuring in at 5'11 180 lbs, Webb has an athletic build and a solid frame. At the plate, he uses a compact flat bat path through the zone, and has proven able to consitently barrel up balls. He's got plus power as well, with exit velocity numbers creeping closer to triple digits each time we see him, topping out at 96 mph last winter. Defensively, he's displayed nice arm strength, being gunned at 87 mph from the outfield and 85 mph across the infield.

Easton Welch 1B / Byng, OK / 2027

Welch has a very durable build, measuring at 6'1 261 lbs when we saw him last winter. He put together an impressive round of BP, narrowly missing triple digit exit velocity, topping out at 99.1 mph. Defensively, he was sure-handed and looked comfortable at first base.

Blake Whittington OF / OF / Jenks, OK / 2026

This will be out first look at Whittington in about a year and a half, so we'll look to get some updated numbers for the talented rising senior. Last time we saw him, the athleticism jumped out at you as he clocked a 60 yard dash time of 6.68 seconds. He's displayed some present power at the plate, with exit velocities reaching the upper 80s.

Matthew Williams 3B / RHP / Metro Christian, OK / 2026

This will be our first look at Williams who put together an impressive 2025 campaign for Metro Christian. The two-way prospect was most impressive at the plate, stacking big performances in the heart of the Metro lineup all season.
