There is a solid foundation to build upon offensively, and with continued reps, he'll refine his ability to control the barrel, especially on pitches away. He moves well in the outfield and already shows some carry on his throws. As his arm strength continues to improve, he has a chance to become a strong all-around defender. He ran a 7.19 60 and projects to be at least an average runner, with the potential to become a plus runner as he matures. Ball's natural tools are evident, and continued physical development will enhance his overall profile.
