Previewing the 2025 NC/SC Border Battle at UNC Charlotte

Prep Baseball North Carolina and South Carolina are set to host the highly anticipated NC/SC Border Battle on Tuesday and Wednesday, June 10–11, 2025, at Robert and Mariam Hayes Stadium, the home of the Charlotte 49ers on the campus of UNC Charlotte.

Now in its seventh year, the NC/SC Border Battle has grown into a cornerstone event of the summer recruiting circuit. It serves as a premier showcase for top high school prospects from both states, drawing consistent attention from college coaches and scouts. Each year, the event averages over 25 college programs in attendance, underscoring its reputation as a must-see for decision-makers across all levels of college baseball.

The results speak for themselves—more than 300 college commitments have come from athletes who have participated in this event over the past seven years.

Event Format

The two-day event begins on Tuesday, June 10, with a pro-style workout featuring batting practice and defensive evaluations. Players will take multiple rounds of BP and demonstrate defensive skills in front of attending evaluators.

Wednesday, June 11, will feature live game action. Pitchers will face hitters in a controlled setting, giving scouts a chance to see competitive reps in a game-like environment.

This event is not only a platform for exposure but also a celebration of the depth and talent of baseball in the Carolinas.
