ORANGE BEACH, AL - The Gulf Coast Summer ID was held on Tuesday, June 3rd at Orange Beach Sportsplex in Orange Beach, AL. This event was an open event that consisted of prospects from the 2026-2030 classes. These players went through extended pro-style workout that included batting practice using Trackman and Blast Motion, ran the 60-yard dash using VALD Performance, and much more. Pitchers were able to throw in simulated bullpens during the workout and were able to get numbers and metrics off of our Trackman unit, such as pitch velocity, spin rate, horizontal & vertical movement & much more. There were some players who showed up and continued to build off of prior performances, but there were also some new names who jumped onto our radar with a strong showing on Sunday.

Jordan Schreier, Gulf Shores (AL), 2028 |
Positional Profile: RHP/3B
Body: 5-8, 155-pounds. Leaner frame with room for added size/strength.
Delivery: Clean mechanics with ease down the mound.
Arm Action: RH. Higher 3/4 slot.
FB: T77, 75-76 mph. Mostly straight with occasional cut to the arm side. T1909, 1810 average rpm.
SL: 67-70 mph. Minimal, sharp break, located well to the gloveside. T2144, 2004 average rpm.
CH: 72-73 mph. Showed late fade, played well off of the fastball. T1901, 1862 average rpm.

Trotter Creel, Fairhope (AL), 2028 |
Positional Profile: RHP
Body: 5-8, 135-pounds. Smaller stature with room to add.
Delivery: Clean actions down the mound, repeats the delivery every pitch.
Arm Action: RH. Higher 3/4 slot, longer arm action.
FB: T77, 74-77 mph. Showed some late arm side action with solid command to the gloveside. T2036, 1950 average rpm.
CB: 64-65 mph. 11/5 shape with command down in the zone. T2302, 2206 average rpm.
CH: 66-70 mph. Killed the spin, creating late depth into RH hitters. T1614, 1543 average rpm.

Weston Hoomes, Andalusia High School (AL), 2027 |
Positional Profile: RHP/3B
Body: 6-0, 150-pounds. Long and lean, will continue to fill out physically.
Delivery: Up tempo delivery, clean actions down the mound.
Arm Action: RH. More of an over the top slot.
FB: T86, 82-85 mph. Mostly straight, able to locate to both sides of the plate. T1977, 1847 average rpm.
CB: 73-75 mph. 12/6 shape with some late depth. Quality secondary offering. T2084, 1971 average rpm.
CH: 73-75 mph. Later depth and tumble into RH hitters. T1108, 986 average rpm.

Hayden Huntsinger, WEST FLORIDA HIGH SCHOOL/TECHNICAL (FL), 2027 |

Body: 6-0, 155-pounds. Longer, lean frame with room for added development.
Delivery: Up tempo actions, clean mover down the mound.
Arm Action: RH. Higher 3/4 slot.

John Gregory, Mountain Brook (AL), 2029 |

Delivery: Up tempo actions down the mound.
Arm Action: RH. A little lower slot.

CB: 69-71 mph. 11/5 shape, able to mix for a strike and a swing and miss offering. T2187, 2149 average rpm.
