QUICK HITS

Wyatt Ayers OF / SS / Columbia Academy, TN / 2027At 5-foot-10 and 175-pounds, Ayers holds a strong build with twitch traits that bodes well for his continued development. Has added size since we saw him this past winter where he first jumped on our scene. 6.92 second runner with faster times to come, moves really well in a lot of facets. Present power to the pull side, aggressive hacks from a smaller leg lift into the swing in tune to a max 94 max EV. Strong arm strength already is present with 92 mph from the outfield. We will watch closely over the next few years.

Alex Bowler C / SS / Battle Ground Academy, TN / 2026The uncommitted rising senior comes with present physical strength at 6 foot 1 and 200 pounds. Occasional lift in the swing, middle and pull side approach with hard barrelled balls on impact. Showed a few 90 mph EV’s with a max of 96 and 367 ft via Trackman. Showed feel for the barrel looking to lift. On the mounds, showed feel for usage of his pitches with quality shapes.

Bo Daniel C / OF / Christ Presbyterian Academy, TN / 2029A guy that we have been hearing a lot of over the last year. Shows a mature approach on the field and looks like he knows what he is doing from a fundamental standpoint. Long and lean frame that should add much more weight and muscle over the next couple of years. Toe tap trigger into the swing, developing power at the plate from an even and balanced setup in the box. Looks to stay through the baseball with consistent line-drives through the middle of the field. Good mover in the field where he was up to 82 from the outfield. Also moves well down the mound where he holds upside as well. One to know as he gets going into his high school career.

Landon Cooper C / RHP / Brentwood Academy, TN / 2026The Brentwood Academy product comes in much sturdier than our last look, while also looking the part throughout. Weighing in at 210 pounds, Cooper has packed on some good weight and carried that over into the box where he led the group with the highest Avg. bat speed with 76.8 mph. Smaller leg lift into the swing, worked to pull side with firm contact with a relaxed gather. Showed a max EV of 97 on a 367 foot shot to deep LCF, while maintaining a strong avg EV just shy of 88 mph. One to follow this summer.

Gabe Hendriks SS / 2B / Homeschool (TN), TN / 2026The rising senior had a strong day in the box belting multiple line-drives from a shorter stride working consistently to the pull side. Has a lot of room to continue to fill out, while showing present strength in the body for size. Clean when fielding, especially to his glove side and coming in, while moving well the both sides of the body. Showed 90 across the infield with darts to first.

TJ Finley C / 2B / Middle Tennessee Christian, TN / 2026The rising senior from MTCS has been a guy on our radar from some time and has continued to fill out and refine his game. Worked well from behind the dish with mobile hips with a low center of gravity. Present arm strength with a quick release that led to low 1.90’s pop-times with accurate throws to 2nd. In the box, showed consistent hard barrels with backspin as he worked primarily to LCF with a 70% line-drive rate and a 70% sweet spot percentage via Trackman. Looks to have a big summer and will be one we watch next spring.

Warren East OF / RHP / Oak Ridge High School, TN / 2027The Oak Ridge native was a force at the top of the lineup for the state tournament participants and a big reason for their success this past spring. Led the state in stolen bases with 55 where he works with a quick acceleration on his back foot plant and turn. Clocked the fastest 60 of the day with a 6.50 second sixty at 170 pounds. Still should hold considerable weight and wants he fills out, just be able to tap into some more power, without sacrificing athletic ability. 96 mph max EV with a hard high arching fly ball to RCF. Easy swing that should hit more doubles this spring. 88 mph from the outfield where he stays through the ball well with low liners out of arm. A guy that we are high on has he gets going into his summer.

Gabe Paschal SS / OF / The Enswoth School, TN / 2027The rising junior has some athletic components to his game and looks likely in store for more future ability as he matures into the frame. Right at 6 feet and 180 pounds, Paschal shows 7.1 speed that looks faster on the field. In the box, showed a shorter stride with minimal leg lift, while also flashing present strength at the plate with liners and hard 1-hoppers in the infield throughout his bp round. Developing arm strength in the mid to upper 80’s that will creep into the 90’s in no time. |

Brayden Melton SS / RHP / Silverdale Baptist, TN / 2028Melton looked clean and controlled down the mound where he shows a quick and clean arm-action that shows good feel for release and foot strike. The rising sophomore is right on track in terms of his velocity as he will fill out considerably over the next few years. Lived 79-80 mph with the heater working well to glove side. Shows development in the offspeed where the CH and BB both tracked in 70-73.

Brody Williams 3B / SS / JSerra Catholic, CA / 2026The recent move-in from California was someone that we had marked coming into the Nashville Summer ID. Physical build in the profile at 6 foot 3 and 200 pounds. Flashed some bat speed in the 73 mph range with a fluid bat path. Shows some juice in the barrel with a 100 mph max EV, while also averaging out at 91 mph for his BP round. Worked consistent line-drives using the middle of the field throughout. Moved well in the outfield, while showing an athletic arm that worked up to 86 mph. Someone to definitely pencil on the summer circuit and one to follow this spring wherever he ends up landing for high school.

August Mann 1B / RHP / Goodpasture Christian, TN / 2028Physical presence in the box at 6 foot 1 and 190 pounds with strength in the build. Decent runner at 7.3 with faster times to come. Worked to an 84 infield velocity across the diamond moving well into his hips. Showed an average EV of 87 with a max EV of 96 with well struck low line-drives. More to come and one we will get more looks on over the years now that he is on our radar.

Silas Porter 1B / 3B / Franklin, Page, TN / 2026The rising Page senior comes in with a proportional build in the 6 foot 1 and 195 pound frame. Stocky look with athleticism clocking a 7.06 sixty while flashing a max EV of 93 in the box.

Aidan Latta OF / RHP / Green Hill, TN / 2029The rising freshman had a standout day and has the makings of a ball player.moved well in the outfield covering ground with great reads off the bat. Flashed 82 from deep with decent carry on throws. Showed a max EV of 82 with more to come as he grows into the five foot ten frame that should continue to grow.
|
![]() |
Knox Rogers 1B / OF / East Robertson, TN / 2029The rising freshman may have had one of my favorite swings of the afternoon with short simple mechanisms that worked quick to the ball without a lot of dragging or moving parts. Looks capable of hitting higher velocity as he faces that more going into high school. Flashed a max 91 mph EV with an 81 mph average EV.
|
![]() |
Reid Olivier RHP / 1B / Siegel, TN / 2029Olivier comes in with an already advanced physical look to the build at 6 foot 1 and 200 pounds. Showed good tempo working down the mound with control and easy arm speed. Was in the zone with all pitches, while also showing the highest rising stars velocity with 84 down in the zone. Has comfortability on the mound and will be a guy that we hope to continue to get looks on as his high school career gets underway.

Barrett OBrien SS / 2B / Liberty Creek, TN / 2029We saw the rising Liberty Creek freshman a few weeks back playing SS in a tournament and left that game impressed with the actions, the way he moved around the field and the ability in the box. Was a name to circle immediately and got me excited to see him in person for getting his first showcase under his belt. Popped a 90 mph EV with consistent barrel leverage in his path. 7.2 runner that should continue to get faster and stronger. One to know in the developing ‘29 class.

Barret Gates C / Goodpasture Christian, TN / 2029Gator was another guy that we saw recently in a tournament and was impressed with his showing where he caught back to back games and came into pitch the final 3 innings on nothing but heart left in the tank that day. Athletic look to the body at 5 foot 11 and 175 pounds. Should get much more physical but showing signs. Clean and quick pops from the crotch with accurate throws to 2nd. Showed 89 max EV in the box from the right side.

Lane Ayars OF / LHP / Wilson Central, TN / 2029One of the most talented players that we had participate at the Nashville Summer ID was the lengthy and athletic Ayars where he measured in at 6 foot 3 and a half at 177 pounds. Good mover clocking in at 7.14 on the sixty, looks capable of being a 6.7 runner in a few years. Showed a smooth stroke from the left side, power to all fields with consistent barrels. 93 max EV with an average of 80 mph with the majority of his batted balls being line-drives. 85 mph from the outfield with good tempo receiving on the bend. Moved well down the mound with velocity up to 80. The CH shows future ability where he worked it 69-70, while his best offering was the breaking ball with real downward depth in the 65-67 range that will work as a power curve down the line. Overall really impressive performance.

Hutch Weaver LHP / OF / Nolensville High School, TN / 2027After dominating Ravenwood in the district tournament, Weaver was a guy that I was eager to see pitch again. You can tell there is still a lot of future development to happen for the rising junior and he just may not even realize how good he can be. Worked the fastball into the 83-85 mph range with controlled tempo and calm traits. Easy and repeatable mechanics with ability to change speeds and work the strike-zone. CH flashed occasionally at 74-75, while the best secondary offering was the CB at 70-75 with real sweep and depth and one that should continue to develop as a weapon to both RHH and LHH. One to circle as he develops as he already shows present pitchability.
