Top Prospect Games San Marcos: Preview Story

This Tuesday, June 17th, the Prep Baseball Texas team is hosting the Top Prospect Games: San Marcos at Texas State University in San Marcos, TX. This is an invite-only event for all high school classes (2026-28), and gives our staff an ample look at the area's top players.

EVENT CHECK-IN PROCESS
ITINERARY
*Please note that the positions listed next to the players on the roster are not necessarily what you are signed up for. That just reflects the primary position in your PBR profile
EVENT DETAILS:
+ Players should wear baseball attire. This includes baseball pants and a baseball cap.
+ Please bring a BBCOR bat for the hitting portion of the workout.
+ No metal cleats, molds or turfs only.
POSITION GROUPS
+ Position Player Check In: 10:00 a.m.
+ Pitchers-Only Check In: 12:30 p.m.
Position Players will run the 60, throw from positions, take BP, then we will move into simulated gameplay.
GAME SCHEDULE
+ The Gameplay portion will start 30 minutes after BP has concluded. We anticipate this being around 1:30 and lasting until about 3:30-4:00
+ This time could vary with late sign ups and late drops from the event.
