The breaking ball stands out, 79-82 mph with sharp two-plane break and unwavering confidence in the offering, inducing multiple swings-and-misses in and out of the zone. The slider got late, and sharp sweeping action playing like a true swing and miss option at any level. Jesperson showed one splitter against a right-handed batter early in the game at 74 mph with late tumbling action, diving down once it reached the plate. The secondaries already give Jesperson a high floor while having upside to each pitch individually. Flashing feel to locate to both sides of the plate, inducing weak contact when hit and flashing enough sinking action to miss bats.
