Memphis Summer ID: Event Preview
June 16, 2025
The Prep Baseball Memphis Summer ID is set Tuesday, June 17th at Collierville High School in Collierville, TN. This event is open to Class of 2026-2030 prospects.
For most in the baseball world the summer schedule is as hectic as it gets. From scouts to coaches to players, everyone is traveling the country looking for the best experiences possible and many are trying to navigate the landscape to put themselves in the best possible situation to #BeSeen.
At Prep Baseball Report our scouts are spending their time just as you are, chasing the best baseball they can find all while making it easier for the player to put his best foot forward in the recruiting process. Our Summer Tour of open showcases takes the approach of making it easier for the player to find a local event, open to all grad classes and skill levels, and providing the opportunity to get in front of our scouts during the hectic schedule of summer baseball, keeping their PBR Profile as current as possible.
All highlights from the Nashville Summer ID will be promoted on PrepBaseballReport.com. The Prep Baseball Report is subscribed to by nearly 1,000 colleges and pro scouts across the country. All results will be posted on the site; along with players’ highlights.
The Prep Baseball Report’s goal is to help student-athletes achieve their dreams of playing baseball at the next level. If you want to take advantage of this opportunity, please get your registration in as soon as possible.
Tryout for The Future Games and Other Invite-Only Events
All Summer ID events serve as a tryout for our most heavily recruited events of the summer, including the Prep Baseball Future Games. The Future Games is the nation's largest recruiting event that takes place July 24-28 at LakePoint Sports in Emerson, GA. The 2025 Future Games will feature the top 2027 prospects in the country.

Players' body composition will be officially measured using state-of-the-art, medical-grade technology that will provide precise insights into height, weight, skeletal muscle mass, BMI and more. Players will step on scales using bioelectrical impedance analysis (BIA), a method for measuring body composition, including muscle mass, body fat, and total body water. Our scales will then produce several metrics giving insight into the prospect’s body composition. Height will be measured using a digital stadiometer to get precise height measurements. Grip Strength Hitters' grip strength will be tested using a digital hydraulic dynamometer. Grip strength is an essential component to bat strength and controlling the barrel. Hitters will be put through a max strength test on both hands, shedding light on hand strength and potential power and bat control down the road. |
