Montgomery Summer ID: Quick Hits
June 12, 2025
DEATSVILLE, AL - The Montgomery Summer ID was held on Tuesday, June 10th at Holtville High School in Deatsville, AL. This event was an open event that consisted of prospects from the 2026-2030 classes. These players went through extended pro-style workout that included batting practice using Trackman and Blast Motion, ran the 60-yard dash using VALD Performance, and much more. Pitchers were able to throw in simulated bullpens during the workout and were able to get numbers and metrics off of our Trackman unit, such as pitch velocity, spin rate, horizontal & vertical movement & much more. There were some players who showed up and continued to build off of prior performances, but there were also some new names who jumped onto our radar with a strong showing on Tuesday.
Continuing our post-event coverage, we take an in-depth look at a select number of standouts from Tuesday's event. Please continue to check back over the next week, as we will release other leaderboards and individual scouting reports on each player present at the event.

A notable two-way prospect with massive strength in the right-handed swing, but possesses more upside as a right-handed arm on the mound. One of the top uncommitted pitchers in the 2026 class in Alabama going into the summer after a standout spring. Works from an up-tempo delivery and operation and looks to pound the zone with the fastball. Consistently sat 88-89 mph with the pitch while touching 89.5 mph early in the bullpen. Features a 73-76 mph curveball and 74-77 mph slider/cutter; both showing good depth and bite and averaging spin rates north of the 2400 RPM mark. Also flashes power changeup at 82-84 mph with fade. Fast arm out of a H 3/4 arm slot. Competitive traits and fills up the zone with ability to hold velocity well in previous in-game looks.
