Both teams were scoreless in this matchup until the bottom of the third inning when New Berlin Eisenhower would get on the board first. A leadoff double for OF Josh Lanser (2025), and walks to RHP/INF Caleb Johns (2026) and OF Alex Michna (2027) load the bases for the Lions. OF Carter Hollenback (2025; Wisconsin-Whitewater) is hit by a pitch to force in a run. A base hit for RHP/INF Sam Hirthe (2025) drives in Johns and Michna. A sacrifice fly off the bat of UT Carter Monreal (2027) would drive in Hollenbeck to cap off the four run inning for the Lions.

Seymour would answer back in the bottom of the fourth inning. Back to back singles start the inning, the first from UT/RHP Xavier Salzman (2026), and the second from OF/LHP Carson Staffeldt (2026). A walk to INF Brandon Poch (2025) loads the bases for C Micah Byers (2026) who would drive in two runs with a double.

Seymour would put runners in scoring position in the sixth, Hirthe would strikeout the final batter of the inning to leave the baserunner stranded keeping the game tied at 4 apiece heading into the seventh.

RHP Max Nemoir (2026) would strike out two batters in the seventh, only needing nine pitches to make it through the inning. In the bottom of the seventh, with the heart of the lineup coming to bat. Hollenback would draw a leadoff walk setting the table for Hirthe to walk it off on a base hit to left field securing the win for the Lions.

After three scoreless innings of play, Kewaunee would score first, with INF Diesel Bosdeck (2028) reaching second on an error on the defense, tagging up on a fly ball, and scoring on a wild pitch.

In the bottom of the fifth inning, a walk to INF/LHP Dominic Santarelli (2026; Louisville) starts the action for the Lancers. Santarelli would steal second base and come around to score on an error on the defense off the bat of C Peter Visconti (2025; Wisconsin-Milwaukee).

Kenosha St. Joseph would add an insurance run in the bottom of the sixth inning, set up by three straight two out singles. The first off the bat of INF Lukas Martinez (2027), the second off the bat of OF Dominic Rinaldi (2026), and the third off the bat of OF Tim Falk (2025) which would allow Martinez to score.
Falk would produce again in a big spot, giving St. Joseph the lead in the state title game on a base hit to right field.

Santarelli would come in to get the final three outs after six strong innings on the mound for INF/RHP Zach Rizzo (2026). Santarelli retired the side in order with two strikeouts to secure the Division 3 State championship for Kenosha St. Joseph.

Johnson Creek didn’t waste any time starting the action in this game with a leadoff walk to OF Luke Hartz (2026) followed by a triple that drove in a run for INF Tanner Herman (2025; Bryant and Stratton JC). Another triple, this time off the bat of INF Zach Holland (2025) to plate a second run.

In the top of the seventh inning, Johnson Creek would add on once again, this time set up by another base hit for Hartz and an intentional walk to Holland. A passed ball would allow the runners to advance, and a Smith groundout would drive in the fifth run of the game for the Blue Jays.
