On Wednesday, June 4th, the Prep Baseball Arkansas team hosted the annual East Arkansas Summer ID at Max Velocity in Jonesboro, AR. This event was open for all high school classes (2026-30), and gave our staff an ample look at the area's top players.

Shortly after the event, our staff compiled several of the day’s stat leaders inside our traditional ‘Stat Story’, which you can find HERE

Today, after combing through our notes from the day, we’ve compiled some of the event’s standouts below within these ‘Quick Hits’.

Brooks Robinson RHP / 1B / Greene County Tech, AR / 2028

Brooks showed an easy delivery with the top velocity in the event. Brooks continues to fill out and profile as a frontline arm in the 2028 class.

Rogan Tyler C / 3B / Brookland, AR / 2027

Rogan showed physical presence and continues to get better each time we see him. Quick twitch behind the plate and easy arm strength, Rogan shows advanced catch and throw. At the plate Rogan has a strength at contact, producing loud barrels in batting practice.

Lyric Gray OF / LHP / Jonesboro, AR / 2029

Athletic with a quick arm, Lyric showed well both on the mound and at the plate. A lean body that will continue to garner strength, Lyric is one to follow in the '29 class as he approaches high school.

Grif Silverthorn 3B / SS / Brookland, AR / 2028

Grif showed athletic actions in his defensive portion and a repeated line drive approach in his rounds of batting practice. Grif continues to get stronger each time we see him.

Brody Freeman OF / RHP / Valley View, AR / 2028

Brody has tools and showed well at the event. His twitch at the plate with barrel awareness created consistent contact in his rounds of batting practice. Big arm from the outfield, Freeman will be a high follow as he continues to mature.

Kaycee Canter 2B / RHP / Searcy, AR / 2030

Kaycee being one of the younger participants, showed conistant actions during defense. Batting practice was consistant line drives to the middle with an easy repeatable swing. One to watch as he continues to develop over time.

Elijah Snearly LHP / OF / Brookland, AR / 2026

Physical and athletic, Elijah showed well in his rounds of batting practice. Twitch to contact and has long levers producing future power.
