2025 Prep Baseball Oklahoma Player of the Year: Ethan Holliday
June 18, 2025
With the 2025 Oklahoma high school baseball season officially in the books, it’s time to announce our 2025 Prep Baseball Oklahoma Player of the Year. The award goes to shortstop Ethan Holliday (Stillwater HS; Oklahoma State) following a monster senior season leading the Pioneers to the state tournament.
The Oklahoma State commit will hear his name called early in next month's draft, long seen as a top prep prospect, and added to that in his senior campaign. Pitched around for most of the year, Holliday still put up massive numbers as he finished with a .611/.743/2.308 slash line, 19 HRs, and 64 RBI for the Pioneers. Stillwater ultimately won their district, hosted a regional, and earned a berth into the state tournament playing some of their best baseball down the stretch.
In a season in which this award could have gone to a handful of worthy players coming off big seasons, Holliday's consistency in all phases of his game, massive offensive output despite limited opportunities from opposing teams, and standout performances with the bat, put him over the top.
Congratulations to Ethan Holliday on winning our 2025 Prep Baseball Oklahoma Player of the Year Award!
