Quick Hits

Jayden Cannon, OF/RHP, 2029, ACE Charter
One of the loudest overall showings would come from the rising freshman as he was extremely impressive in all facets Tuesday afternoon. Standing a physical and athletic 6-foot-2, 190-pounds, Cannon would open the event with an eye-opening 60 clocking at a 6.85. Cannon would put together one of the more potent rounds of BP as well as he would produce a Max EV of 98.1 and a Max Distance of 346 Ft. The RHH stays well-balanced with advanced use of his lower half and leveraged in-zone. Strength in the hands stands out with impact in the barrel as he generates easy carry to the pull-side. Cannon yielded an electric first look and will remain a close follow in the ‘29 class as there is tremendous projection throughout the frame/profile.

Eli Rice, SS, 2029, North Oconee
Eli Rice, Class of 2029, put together an impressive round of BP at the showcase, consistently keeping his hands inside the baseball and showing advanced barrel control for his age. At 5-foot-7, he already displays a mature approach at the plate with a compact swing and feel for the strike zone. As he continues to grow and add strength, Rice’s offensive upside will only increase.

Kaiden Harvey, SS, 2029, Houston County
Harvey kicked off the day with a 6.87 60 yard yard and showed well during our athletic jump testing. He carried that over into BP with a simple approach and heavy line drive round, showing feel for the barrel and the ability to hit the ball to all parts of the field. Headed to Houston County in August and will be a freshman to keep an eye on at one of the top baseball programs in the state.

AJ Jackson, OF, 2029, Southeast Bulloch
We have been able to get a couple looks at Jackson this summer in tournaments and continues to produce. The frame stands out at 5-foot-10, 166-pounds with strength throughout. He sprayed the ball to all parts of the field with a simple load and strong barrel through the zone. He is a versatile defender that will be able to stick in the infield or outfield when he gets to high school in August.

Brady Molton, 3B, 2029, ACE
Molton put together a strong day all around from BP to his bullpen on the mound. He had a consistent round of BP with a max exit velocity of 84.1 with a smooth swing from the right side. He showed clean actions in the field and was 70mph across the diamond. All the mound he filled up the zone with a FB in the low 70’s.
