The summer is rolling, and Prep Baseball Idaho just wrapped up the Idaho State Games, which brought together over 60 players from across the state. The event was loaded with uncommitted talent, and plenty of players stepped up with strong performances in both the workout and live game settings. Several made a clear impression on our staff and are trending in the right direction heading into the rest of the summer.

As part of our continued coverage, we’re kicking off our Uncommitted Spotlight Series—a closer look at some of the top standouts from the Idaho State Games who are still on the board. Each of these players showed well and continue to raise their stock with their play.

We continue highlighting standouts from the Idaho State Games with a look at '26 C Maddox Stadelmeir. He turned in a solid performance back on June 4th, posting some numbers that are trending in the right direction. At the plate, he recorded a 94.3 mph exit velocity and a max distance of 360 feet, flashing some developing power potential. He shows a smooth, repeatable swing, and with added strength heading into his senior year, his offensive metrics could continue to climb.

Defensively, he was solid behind the dish, showing athleticism and steady glove work. As he continues to quicken up his transfer and release, there’s reason to believe his 1.99 pop time and 75 mph catcher velocity will take another step forward. He’ll be a name to keep an eye on in Idaho heading into his senior season.

This article will take a closer look at Stadelmeir's recent metrics, scouting notes, and videos from the Idaho State Games.
