Uncommitted Spotlight: '26 Caleb Zawadzki

The summer is rolling, and Prep Baseball Idaho just wrapped up the Idaho State Games, which brought together over 60 players from across the state. The event was loaded with uncommitted talent, and plenty of players stepped up with strong performances in both the workout and live game settings. Several made a clear impression on our staff and are trending in the right direction heading into the rest of the summer.
As part of our continued coverage, we’re kicking off our Uncommitted Spotlight Series—a closer look at some of the top standouts from the Idaho State Games who are still on the board. Each of these players showed well and continue to raise their stock with their play.
We continue highlighting standouts from the Idaho State Games with a look at ‘26 SS/RHP Caleb Zawadzki. Zawadzki stood out as one of the event’s top prospects, impressing across the board during the workout portion. He posted a max exit velocity of 105.2 mph with an average of 91.8 mph, and launched balls as far as 409 feet. He also turned in a 7.08 60-yard dash and showed an 85 mph arm across the infield, solidifying himself as one of the top performers of the event.
During the live portion of the Idaho State Games, Zawadzki stood out once again—this time on the mound. He recorded the top fastball velocity of the day at 90.1 mph and sat comfortably in the 88–90 mph range throughout his outing. He filled up the zone with confidence, landing the fastball for strikes at an impressive 82% rate. He paired it with a sharp breaking ball that spun up to nearly 2,500 RPM, generating depth with up to -16.9 inches of IVB on his best ones.
Zawadzki has clearly established himself as a legitimate two-way talent, and he’s set to draw plenty of attention as he enters his senior season.
