Arguably the state's top uncommitted rising senior, OF Cross Tonsmeire (Vestavia Hills, 2026) delivered a standout showing both in the showcase and in-game settings, where he seemed to square up the baseball consistently with each swing. At 6-foot-0, 202-pounds, Tonsmeire is a physical right-handed barrel with serious, easy impact to both gaps. There was consistent loud contact in BP, posting a top EV of 100.3 mph, and continued to mash during gameplay where he recorded multiple hits, including a home run. Can play all three outfield spots with high-level athleticism, as evidenced by his 6.79-speed. The tools are loud for the Class 7A 1st Team All-State member who hit north of .380 in the highest classification this spring.

Another highly-ranked uncommitted 2026 prospect, OF Clayton Rice (American Christian, 2026) should near the top of the list for college recruiters to see this summer. An impressive 6-foot-1, 192-pounder with present strength and athleticism in the profile, Rice continues to display an advanced left-handed bat with easy all-fields pop. The bat gets on-plane early allowing for extension and some leverage in the swing, and consistently yields high exits off the barrel. Clocked a 6.80 60-yard dash, was 88 mph from the OF, and posted a top EV of 97.6 mph during BP. Tools galore with a physical left-handed bat.

OF Ross Christy (Fultondale, 2029) did more than enough to exceed our staff's expectations, which were already high going into the event. One of the youngest players in attendance, Christy emerged as a clear winner from the two-day span with a solid workout and multiple extra-base hits in gameplay. A 5-foot-9, 156-pounder, the rising freshman possesses a thick, physical build with advanced athleticism for the age. The ball is already coming off at a high-level, which was evidenced by a 95.2 mph EV in BP and multiple deep drives to the pull-side in-game. Also a 7.05-runner. Cementing himself in the upper-tier group of prospects in Alabama's 2029 class.

OF/LHP Drew Jackson III (American Christian, 2028) just continues to stack standout performances one event after another. + There are a lot of good swings in the 2027 class in Alabama, and OF Charlie Maniscalco (Oxford, 2027) may have the best. A slick-swinging left-handed stroke, the 5-foot-11, 176-pounder takes a clean, easy path to the point of contact and stays fluid in the swing. The barrel works on an upward path some impact off and future power to come. Clocked a 6.86 60-yard dash, was 87 mph from the OF, and posted a top EV of 96.5 mph.

Add another sweet left-handed swing to the above conversation with OF Austin Barnett (Thompson, 2027), who continues to showcase an impressive feel for the barrel.
