EVENT HISTORY

We've been hosting this event for the past 4 years, and it's consistently provided us a look at prominent players who've later gone on to receive invitations to select events, like the Prep Baseball Future Games. Among the players in attendance at this event in 2024, there are already 45 commitments among them. We're looking forward to checking in on the next crop of talent from this event to earn next-level attention in the coming weeks, months, and years.

2025 ROSTER

This year's roster is already shaping up nicely, just like in years past.

2026's

RHP Seldon Kolkebeck (Old Tappan, 2026) stands 6-foot-4, 200-pounds and is currently ranked No. 62 in the state's 2026 class. The right-hander has been up to 89.6 mph previously, sitting 86-89 mph with a spin rate up to 2537 rpm. Also, mixes in a slider 70-72 mph with an average spin rate of 2449 rpm, and a changeup at 78-81 mph with 14 in. of HM. Kolkebeck should continue to impress at this event.

RHP Jacob Hammer (Montville, 2026) currently ranked No. 104 in the state's '26 class, Hammer will be making his second appearance at the Top Prospect Games. This past winter, Hammer impressed in his bullpen at the All-State event, the right-hander worked a fastball at 84-86 mph with 16.4 in. of IVB, curveball at 69-71 mph with an avg. spin rate of 2395 rpm, and a changeup at 77-79 mph with 16.4 in. of HM.

LHP/OF Lucas Melton (Toms River East, 2026) broke out as a two-way prospect this winter at the All-State event and should have a all-around impressive day tomorrow. Previously, Melton has had loud round's of BP, with EVs up to 106.6 mph with an avg of 92.7 mph and has flashed some serious bat speed. On the mound, has worked a three pitch mix with the fastball reaching 85 mph for strikes, flashing a curveball with an avg. of 14 in. of HM, and a vertical breaking changeup.

2027's

OF Connor Chester (Audubon, 2027) currently ranked No. 69 in the state's '27 class will be a prospect to watch at tomorrow's event as the 6-foot-5, 195-pound right-handed hitter has had EVs up to 94 mph during his BP round and has ran a 7.00 60-yard dash. Defensively, has sound actions and tossed 80 mph from the OF.

RHP Michael Fekete (Cherry Hill East, 2027) currently ranked No. 3 in the state's 2027 class and No. 288 nationally, Fekete is the top right handed arm out of New Jersey. Fekete has impressed in front of out staff previously with his 6-foot-2, 208-pound frame and feel for all pitches. The right-hander has thrown the fastball at 84-86 T87 mph with sink, curveball at 76-79 mph, and a late sweeping slider at 77-78 mph. Fekete should have one of the loundest performances at the event.

OF Dante Matarese (Bishop Eustace, 2027) has a 5-foot-11, 184-pound frame and is currently ranked No. 17 in the state's '27 class. Matarese is a lanky and athletic prospect to follow at the event, has previously flashed EVs up to 91 mph with an avg. of 84 mph and has thrown 86 mph from the outfield. The outfielder should be a name to breakout at tomorrow's event.

2028's'

RHP/OF Owen Ehrenkranz (Gill St. Bernards, 2028) has a 6-foot-2, 190-pound athletic frame and is currently ranked No. 3 in the state's 2028 class. The two-way has shown well recently at multiple events. The former Junior Future Gamer has flashed some juice during BP rounds with EVs up to 94 mph and a max distance of 352' as well as some clean defensive rounds with an OF velo of 85 mph. On the mound, has been up to 84 mph with the fastball, flashed a lateral moving slider at 68-70 mph, and a late diving splitter at 72-73 mph.

MIF Luca Catanzarite (Immaculata, 2028) is currently ranked No. 18 in the state's '28 class and has had some intriguing performances at previous events. The right-handed hitter has flashed EVs maxing out at 90 mph with an average of 86 mph with some feel for the barrel. Catanzarite is a smooth defender with active feet and the arm plays at 80 mph. A prospect the should continue to breakout at tomorrow's event.

OF/RHP Carson Frazier (Toms River East, 2028) is a projectable 6-foot-2, 170-pound prospect with MLB bloodlines (nephew of Todd Frazier). Frazier has had quality rounds of BP previously with a max EV of 87 mph and a max distance of 322'. On the mound, the fastball sits 73-76 mph, curveball 57-61 mph with an avg of 17.4 in. of total movement, and a slider at 58-60 mph with an avg. of 16.3 in of total movement.

Perusing the event roster, we’re set to meet a majority of players who’ve not yet attended a Prep Baseball showcase, and we’re eager to add more names to our follow lists.
