Seattle & Bend Summer ID's - Quick Hits
June 28, 2025
Earlier this week, Prep Baseball PNW hosted a pair of Summer ID events in Seattle, Washington and Bend, Oregon. Prep Baseball scouts evaluated high school athletes in the 2026-2029 graduating classes, with several strong showings throughout the events.
Summer ID events serve as an important tool for both Prep Baseball scouts and college recruiters, who will subsequently create lists of prospects to follow as they plan their remaining summer coverage. We often tend to see prospects' best showings at Summer ID events, as players are fresh off playing for their respective high schools and are in the routine that consistently playing in-game offers. Standout performances can lend invites to some of the summer's top events, including the 2025 Pacific Northwest State Games.
Today, Prep Baseball releases our Quick Hits, detailing scouting notes on standout players from both events. Players are listed alphabetically by last name. For all other post-event content, click here.
Quick Hits
Bend Summer ID (6.25.25)
'29 INF Dylan Gregory (Roseburg)
One of the loudest days at the event despite his underclassman status. Gregory posted multiple top 3 performances at the event. The 2029 infielder had an impressive showing at the plate with an average exit velocity of 85.0 MPH and a peak EV of 93.2 MPH, including multiple barrels in the 90’s. Also running a 7.10 60-yard sprint, Dylan demonstrated that he is a ‘29 to keep an eye on as he heads toward his high school career.
'28 INF Evan Guadalupe (Summit)
Top-ten ranked player in the 2028 class showcased his advanced skillset throughout. Began the event running a 7.21 60-yard dash time with smooth athletic movements throughout. Showed sound footwork and defensive positioning before throwing 79-81 across the diamond. At the plate Evan posted one of the highest exit velo’s for the event, peaking 94.8 MPH and hitting three balls over 340 feet. Guadalupe starts in a tall stance and high hands as he slow loads into his back shoulder load and a small toe tap to begin the swing. High level athlete is a must follow into the summer and next year.
'27 INF Diego Lopez (Ridgeview)
Smooth movements throughout the event and a significant increase in strength over the past year. Ran a 7.02 60-yard sprint and had throws 77-78 from the INF with high level defensive actions. Drove multiple balls to the pull side and left center gap in BP rounds with exit velocities in the 86-90 mph range and 325+ ft on 7 swings. Posted a near event-best 95.2 MPH peak exit velocity, showing plenty of pop to be in the front half of many lineups.
'28 INF Kingston Lopez (Ridgeview)
Lean 6’2 frame with intruiging tools for a ‘28 and newcomer to the class. Showcased athleticism and flashes of future strength to come. Demonstrated clean infield movements while making some advanced level plays. At the plate, begins with a wide base with a relaxed start and has a small barrel lift type load, with his hands sitting just outside the shoulder while a small toe tap starts the lower half. Projectable power will be coming for the underclassman as he continues to grow into the frame.
