Uncommitted Spotlight: '26 Sawyer Tilley
July 2, 2025
The summer is rolling, and Prep Baseball Idaho just wrapped up the Idaho State Games, which brought together over 60 players from across the state. The event was loaded with uncommitted talent, and plenty of players stepped up with strong performances in both the workout and live game settings. Several made a clear impression on our staff and are trending in the right direction heading into the rest of the summer.
As part of our continued coverage, we’re kicking off our Uncommitted Spotlight Series—a closer look at some of the top standouts from the Idaho State Games who are still on the board. Each of these players showed well and continue to raise their stock with their play.
We continue highlighting standouts from the Idaho State Games with a look at '26 RHP Sawyer Tilley out of Jerome HS. Tilley put together a solid showing, sitting 83–84 mph with his fastball while showing a smooth, controlled delivery. He also featured a curveball with up to -10.6 inches of IVB and a changeup that showed quality horizontal movement.
Tilley stands at 6-foot-1, 171.5 pounds, leaving plenty of room to fill out his frame. He’s a name to watch in the state of Idaho, with the potential to make big strides heading into his senior year.
This article will take a closer look at Sawyer's recent metrics, scouting notes, and videos from the Idaho State Games.
