Top Prospect Games: Fort Worth - Quick Hits

On Tuesday, June 24th the PB Texas staff traveled to TCU in Fort Worth, TX, to host the Top Prospect Games: Fort Worth, an invite-only event for all high school classes.
Around 30 players made their way to TCU and participated in a pro-style workout, followed by a simunlated game where pitchers were evaluated & filmed.
We have already released a Statistical Analysis, highlighting the event’s top performers in the more traditional stat categories. We will continue our post-event rollout today with our scouting takeaways below.
Jacob Harms | 2026 RHP | Ranchview HS | Uncommitted
6’4” | 200 lbs
FB: 89–92 (sat 90–91), SL: 78–89 (2350 spin), CB: 75, CH: 79–80
Projectable frame with room to add strength. Clean, repeatable delivery with length from a sidearm slot. Shows good arm speed and should continue to add velocity. FB has life with tail to both sides, showing late run and occasional sink. Slider is the most advanced secondary offering and plays well off the FB. Induces uncomfortable ABs for RHH with swing-and-miss potential and weak contact. Secondary pitches are still developing but show promise. High academic profile – perfect ACT score.

Polished lefty with a smooth, repeatable delivery. Commands the zone and works both sides with a quality FB. Shows feel for both breaking balls, with sweeping/slurve action and the ability to spin it. Has pitchability and consistently competes. Velo was up this spring. School listing is currently homeschool but may change.

Quick arm with solid mechanics. FB up to 89 and projects to tick up. Shows arm-side life and aggressiveness. Slider has tight spin and effective shape. CH has deception and fade. Throws strikes and competes. Young arm with advanced feel—high ceiling.

Athletic and lean with plus run tool and range in CF. Solid defender with a developing arm that should reach average. Contact hitter with gap-to-gap approach and some pull-side juice. Quality ABs in-game and a stolen base threat. On the mound, up to 87 with feel for CB. Strike thrower. Projects best as a position player, with pitching adding depth.

Big-bodied, physical presence with strength. Moves well around the bag and soft hands at 1B. Shows loud, hard contact with line drive approach. As approach matures, power should play more. Strong intangibles.
