Midwest Premier Super 16 Weekend Review

LJ Hatch
Director of Scouting- Prep Baseball Tournaments KC

The 2025 Midwest Premier Super 16 - Member & Open delivered on its promise as one of the summer’s premier events at Prep Baseball Kansas City. Featuring 130 elite programs from 13 states, the invitation-only tournament showcased top-tier talent from across the Midwest and beyond, drawing teams from Missouri, Texas, Illinois, Colorado, Oklahoma, and more.

With a five-game guarantee and only top-level organizations in attendance, the Super 16 provided a highly competitive environment built for exposure and player development. Games were held at two of the region’s finest venues—Creekside Baseball Park and Homefield Baseball Complex—which combined to offer 14 all-turf fields just 15 minutes apart.

Creekside impressed with its six turf-infield fields, bullpens, cages, and on-site amenities, while Homefield's eight brand-new diamonds and TrackMan technology elevated the experience for players, coaches, and recruiters alike. With elite facilities, high-end talent, and unmatched recruiting opportunities, the 2025 Super 16 once again proved why it’s a can't-miss stop on the summer circuit.
