Washington Uncommitted Spotlight - '26 OF/RHP Michael Spalding

As we enter the summer showcase season, Prep Baseball Washington features an Uncommitted Spotlight, where we highlight standout performers that attended a Prep Baseball Preseason ID event this year. Uncommitted spotlights are meant to showcase players that Prep Baseball Scouts felt showed standout tools, large improvements in overall game, or potential upside moving forward. College coaches and recruiters should be sure to keep an eye on these prospects in the coming months.

This week, we spotlight '26 OF/RHP Michael Spalding. The junior out of Walla Walla High School was most recently seen at the Central Washington Preseason ID this winter.

A 6'2 athlete, Spalding's event was highlighted by exit velocities into the high 90's and a FB up to 80 MPH on the mound. Below is a complete breakdown of the player, including scouting reports and video from the event.
