On Sunday, June 1st, the Prep Baseball California team hosted the 2025 ProCase - West at Pepperdine University in Malibu, CA. This was an invite-only event, and gave our staff an ample look at the top draft 2026 and 2027 prospects all over the West Coast.

Nearly 50 players made their way to Pepperdine University and participated in a pro-style workout, gathering unrivaled access to data through our state-of-the-art tech partners, as well as in-depth scouting analysis from our Prep Baseball California staff.

We've already posted a Statistical Analysis from the event, highlighting more of the traditional statistical categories, as well as a Quick Hits, highlighting some of the events top performers.

Today, we're taking a look at the scouting reports on all of the infielders on Team California.

INFIELDER ANALYSIS (LISTED ALPHABETICALLY)

Carter Hadnot, Aquinas (CA), 2027 Miami
Positional Profile: SS/SS Up the middle profile athlete with ability to stick at SS long term while showing intriguing top of the order offensive potential.
Body: 6-1, 165.4 pounds. Athletically built with wiry present strength across his frame and room to develop as he matures.
Hit: SH. RH: Balanced set up with small knee bend and vertical upper body. Hands set high near his head above ear height with flat bat angle and high back elbow. LH: Closed set up with knee bend and hip hinge in posture. Hands set deeper near rear shoulder above ear height with small bat waggle. RH: small sit into rear leg with medium leg lift in forward move to launch loads his hands with a barrel tip to the pitcher. Stays taller in his turn with explosive sequence. Hands are compact with barrel working up through the zone. LH: quiet load with hands pushing back as the barrel tips in a short forward move to reach launch position. Aggressive turn with hands connecting with the body. Barrel works the zone uphill with tilt in finish. 58.5 mph bat speed with 13g of rotational acceleration.
Power: 95 mph max exit velocity (89.2 avg.); 332-foot max batted distance.
Arm: RH. INF - 89.00 mph. Loose fast arm with carry on his throws that can throw from multiple angles. Long term SS profile.
Defense: Athletic mover with comfort playing one handed in any direction. Quick feet with feel for rhythm and body control to play downhill.
Athletic Testing: 6.46 runner in the 60-yard dash; 28.60-inch max vertical jump. Dynamic runner who shows ability to build speed while maintaining his direction. Drives off the line with solid burst.
