2025 Oklahoma Top Prospect Games Underclass: Quick Hits

Prep Baseball Oklahoma hosted the Top Prospect Underclass Games at Oklahoma State on Tuesday, June 10th featuring players from the 2028 to 2029 classes. This event featured a pro-style workout with BP, defensive evaluations, laser timed 60 yard dashes, and bullpens. The event was tracked with data from our tech partners Trackman, Blast Motion, and Vald.

Today we take a look at some of the top performers from the event with quick notes and videos on players with a strong showing.

QUICK HITS

Corner Infielder Creed Rogers (Davis; 2028)  put together one of the more impressive offensive performances during the Underclass Games. The physical corner infielder showed big-time juice at the plate, registering a 100 mph max exit velocity with a loud 93.1 mph average EV. Rogers also turned in a 7.10 60-yard dash, an impressive athlete for the physical, middle of the order, presence. With present strength and advanced feel for the barrel, Rogers profiles as a middle-of-the-order bat with impact potential.

INF/RHP Bradley Hastings (Bishop Kelley; 2028) was one of the top overall performers at the Top Prospect Underclass Games, showcasing a loud toolset on both sides of the ball. The two-way standout posted a 6.95 60-yard dash, was up to 92 mph across the infield, and showed advanced arm strength on the mound with a fastball reaching 89.5 mph. Offensively, the switch hitting infielder delivered some of the most consistent hard contact of the day with a 99 mph max exit velocity and an impressive 94.2 mph average EV. With his combination of athleticism, arm strength, and impact bat, Hastings continues to solidify himself as a premier prospect in the class.

Bradley Hastings

INF/RHP Tripp Thomas (Heritage Hall; 2028) put together an impressive day at OSU to follow up a strong spring at Heritage Hall. Offensively, the right-handed hitter showcased big power potential with a 98.1 mph max exit velocity and a consistent 94.4 mph average, finding barrels throughout his round. He posted a 7.08 60 and showed solid arm strength at 86 mph across the infield. On the mound, Thomas featured a fastball that topped at 83.5 mph and paired it with a tight-spinning slider that reached 2340 RPMs. His ability to contribute on both sides makes him a must follow as he continues to develop and impact games in a variety of ways.

1B Reid Watkins (Broken Arrow; 2028) showcased his middle of the order ability at the Underclass Games. Offensively, the left handed hitter showed the ability to generate loud contact, recording a 97.6 mph max exit velocity with consistent barrel control. He ran a 7.45 60 and showed solid footwork around the bag with 81 mph arm strength across the infield. Watkins’ offensive upside and size profile him as a middle-of-the-order run producer at the next level and is a name schools should continue to follow.

OF/LHP Carter Cole (Sulphur; 2028) showcased his two-way skillset throughout the event at OSU. The athletic left-hander posted a 6.90 60 while reaching 87 mph from the outfield with clean actions and working downhill. Offensively, he flashed his high upside from the left side, recording a max exit velocity of 94.9 mph with consistent extra base hit power to all fields - narrowingly missing a home run in game play. He also impressed on the mound, running his fastball up to 85 mph. Cole’s blend of athleticism and two-way ability makes him a high-follow name in the class with his best baseball far in the future.

INF CJ Glasgow (Stillwater; 2028) put together a loud offensive showing during the Top Prospect Underclass Games. The athletic infielder posted a 7.01 60 while also showing the ability to provide sure-handed defense in the middle of the yard. Offensively, Glasgow showed advanced rotational speed (21.1g), showcasing the ability to generate force, while consistently delivering hard contact with a 95.9 mph max exit velocity and 89.5 mph average. Glasgow’s ability to impact the baseball and move efficiently makes him a strong follow in the 2028 class.

INF/RHP Kai Horne (Deer Creek; 2028) showed the ability to impact games on both sides of the ball at Oklahoma State. Offensively, Horne flashed middle of the order potential with a 94.7 mph max exit velocity and 88.2 mph average, consistently finding the barrel to all fields. Defensively, the two-way prospect fired 87 mph across the infield and displayed an advanced feel playing in the middle of the field. On the mound, Horne worked his fastball up to 82.5 mph and mixed in a three-pitch arsenal with feel, rounding out a complete and competitive profile.

OF Parker Weston (Mustang; 2028) showcased a well-rounded skill set in the ability to impact games at bat and on the bases. The athletic outfielder ran a 6.90 in the 60, and was up to 83 mph from the outfield, working downhill with good carry. At the plate, Weston consistently found the barrel with a max exit velocity of 93.9 mph and an impressive 86.8 mph average. His combination of athleticism and offensive potential makes him a name to follow closely moving forward.

RHP/INF Connor Arant (Bixby; 2028) showed his high upside on the mound as well as present ability on the mound and at the plate. Offensively, Arant produced loud contact with a 93.6 mph max exit velocity highlighting the power potential at the plate. He flashed 86 mph across the infield with clean footwork and strong carry on throws. On the mound, Arant featured an 86.6 mph fastball with advanced spin, paired with a swing and miss slider and a fading changeup. The overall profile offers intriguing versatility and pitchability to watch as he continues to develop with an imposing frame.

Connor Arant

OF Jack Brady (Washington; 2028) put together a strong day at OSU, flashing athleticism and strength throughout his game. Brady ran a 6.89 60, and his speed translated well to the outfield where he registered 89 mph on his throws with carry and accuracy. At the plate, the right-handed hitter delivered the barrel with authority, reaching a 93.5 mph max exit velocity with a strong 87.9 mph average. Brady’s combination of speed, arm strength, and consistent offensive output makes him a well-rounded prospect to keep a close eye on.

C Jackson Echalk (Heritage Hall; 2028) turned in a quality performance as an athletic backstop with the ability to work from alley to alley offensive. He showed solid athleticism with a 7.11 60 and was consistently on the bag with his throws, posting a pop time as low as 2.05. Offensively, Echalk produced a 92.8 mph max exit velocity with a simple, efficient offensive move that found the barrel throughout his round. With strength behind the dish and the ability to impact the baseball at the plate, Echalk continues to emerge as a steady presence in the 2028 class.

INF Parker Allen (Edmond North; 2028) flashed a present ability to impact games with the glove and bat. The infielder posted a 92.4 mph max exit velocity with an impressive 85.6 mph average and elite 30g of Rotational Acceleration, pointing to serious bat speed and future power potential as the frame continues to fill out. Defensively, Allen flashed clean actions and was up to 83 mph across the infield. His combination of being a sure-handed infielder and working alley to alley offensively will make him a follow as he continues to develop.

INF Zayden Khalil (Yukon; 2028) impressed with his offensive tools and mature approach throughout the Top Prospect Underclass Games. Khalil showed the ability to drive the baseball with authority, recording a 92.4 mph max exit velocity while consistently working through the oppo gap. Defensively, he flashed versatility across the diamond with 81 mph across the infield and the athleticism to defend in the outfield as well. His well-rounded game was on full display and will continue to develop.

Zayden Khalil

INF Mason Mayhew (Deer Creek; 2028) flashed a strong skillset from an athletic frame. The infielder turned in a 7.07 60 and showed off a strong arm across the diamond at 85 mph. At the plate, Mayhew used a simple move, topping out at 92.4 mph exit velocity with strength to the pull side. He also jumped on the mound and ran his fastball into the low 80s, showing the ability to impact the game on both sides. Mayhew’s 2-way abilities and steady tools make him a name to follow in the 2028 class.

RHP/OF Laken Lee (Metro Christian; 2028) flashed legitimate power potential, on both sides of the ball, throughout the Underclass Games at OSU from a physically imposing 6’5” frame. At the plate, Lee turned in a loud round of BP with a 92.3 mph max exit velocity, showing strength to the pull side and the ability to drive the ball with authority. Defensively, he reached 83 mph from the outfield using his long, strong frame. On the mound, the right-hander worked up to 83.6 mph on a high-spin fastball, flashing intriguing traits that should continue to trend up. Lee’s physicality as well as advanced metrics on the mound will make him a strong prospect in the 2028 class.

RHP/INF Aiden Hendren (Lincoln Christian; 2028) flashed his big fastball and upside throughout the day at OSU as part of the Top Prospect Underclass Games. Offensively, Hendren flashed strength in the box with a 91.3 mph max exit velocity, showing the ability to drive the ball with intent. Defensively, he was up to 84 mph across the infield. On the mound, the right-hander ran his fastball up to 86 mph, showing ability to land secondary pitches in the zone, and much more in the tank. Hendren’s overall athleticism, especially on the mound, make him an exciting follow for the future.

Aiden Hendren

INF Cal Gore (Enid; 2028) showcased solid fundamentals and a confident approach throughout the workout OSU. Offensively, Gore showed the ability to find the barrel with consistency, posting an 88.4 mph exit velocity and demonstrating an easy move, efficiently working through the big part of the yard. With a 10.4g rotational acceleration, he showed a foundation for developing more power over time. The sure-handed corner infielder put together one of the most mature, well-rounded BP rounds of the day, and will be an exciting follow in the 2028 class.

OF/LHP Blaine Hollingshead (Piedmont; 2028) showed his athleticism and two-way potential throughout the day at the Underclass Games at OSU. The outfielder posted an 89.1 mph exit velocity with a smooth, line-drive approach working through the middle of the field. Hollingshead turned in a strong 60 at 6.78 and reached up to 87 mph from the outfield, showing continued development. On the mound, the southpaw ran his fastball up to 84 mph and mixed in both a curveball and changeup with feel for the zone. Hollingshead’s ability to contribute in multiple roles makes him an exciting 2028 prospect.

INF Kale Impson (Deer Creek; 2028) put together a strong, well-rounded showing throughout the day at OSU. The right-handed hitter showcased a compact and efficient swing, generating a max exit velocity of 90.2 mph with consistent line-drive contact to all fields. Defensively, Impson showed the ability to defend in the middle of the yard and worked up to 81 mph across the diamond. He added a home run in game play and showed to be a strong all-around prospect in the 2028 class.

INF Austin Echalk (Heritage Hall; 2029) turned in a solid performance throughout the day at the Top Prospect Underclass Games at OSUt. Offensively, the right-handed hitting infielder showed athleticism as he worked through the middle of the yard recording an 85.5 mph exit velocity. Echalk demonstrated clean actions with comfort working out front and receiving the ball. His steady skill set and projectable frame give him a foundation to continue making strides as he matures.

INF Stryker Warlick (Stillwater; 2028) consistently displayed clean actions throughout the event at Oklahoma State. The infielder displayed clean footwork and soft hands, reaching up to 80 mph across the diamond with good carry. At the plate, Warlick continues to show an easy offensive move, getting up to 87.5 mph exit velocity, spraying line drives around the yard. His consistent actions and steady approach give him a solid foundation to build on as he continues to develop.

INF Creed Kardokus (Edmond Memorial; 2028) flashed the ability to impact games in a variety of ways as a defender in the middle of the field. The infielder posted a 7.28 60 while adding clean actions as a reliable, sure-handed defender. Offensively, Kardokus showed strength at contact with an 87.8 mph exit velocity, delivering line drives with a short and direct path. His reliable presence on both sides of the ball makes him a quality follow in the 2028 class.

RHP/OF Finley Kouplen (Metro Christian; 2028) showed athleticism from a physical frame throughout the Underclass Games. The athletic two-way prospect ran a 6.98 60 and was up to 84 mph from the outfield with sound defensive actions. On the mound, Kouplen may have been at his best as he worked his fastball up to 85 mph and mixed in a high-spin slider that showed true swing-and-miss potential. His ability to impact the game in multiple roles makes him a name to watch in the 2028 class.

INF/OF/RHP Jackson Mays (Washington; 2028) showcased his versatility and athleticism throughout the workout the day at OSU. Mays impressed with his arm strength, reaching up to 85 mph across the infield and 89 mph from the outfield, showing the ability to handle multiple defensive roles, but still showing to be an advanced defender on the infield. At the plate, he posted an 86.5 mph exit velocity, flashing consistent contact and gap-to-gap potential. He also jumped on the mound, working his fastball up to 83 mph with the ability to fill up the zone with multiple offerings. The Washington product has shown the ability to impact games in a variety of ways and will continue to be a name to keep a close eye on in the 2028 class.

OF/RHP Ryker McCully (Lindsay; 2028) impressed with his speed and two-way upside throughout the day at Oklahoma State. The athletic outfielder turned in a standout 6.74 60 and showed solid arm strength with throws up to 84 mph from the outfield. At the plate, McCully flashed bat speed and barrel control with an 87.7 mph exit velocity. He also hopped on the mound, working in the low 80s with his fastball and good command of secondary pitches. McCully’s athleticism and 2-way potential make him an intriguing follow in the 2028 class.

C Carson Green (Davis; 2028) showcased clean catch-and-throw skills behind the plate with pop times ranging from 1.97-2.05 during the workout at OSU. Further, he showed an ability to receive at a high level. Offensively, Green impressed with a mature approach at the plate, driving the ball from alley to alley and working through the middle of the yard. His overall polish on both sides of the ball makes him a dependable presence behind the dish and a name to keep close tabs on in the 2028 class.

C/INF Jaxon McKinney (McAlester; 2028) showed his defensive flexibility and ability to produce from the catching position at the Top Prospect Underclass Games. McKinney turned in pop times as low as 2.07 from behind the plate and reached 81 mph across the infield, showing clean footwork and arm strength. The 7.21 runner moved well for his position group and displayed feel for the barrel at the plate, posting an 85.5 mph exit velocity. McKinney’s ability to contribute both behind the dish and on the infield makes him an intriguing and versatile option in the 2028 class.

RHP Kade Phillips (MacArthur; 2028) impressed on the mound at OSU in the game play portion of the Top Prospect Underclass Games. The right-hander worked in the low 80s with his fastball, mixing in a consistently-shaped slider that he showed confidence in landing for strikes and expanding late in counts. Phillips profiles as a competitive arm with the potential to continue developing thanks to his ability to miss bats.

LHP/OF Journey Boswell (Victory Christian, 2028) showed his all-around ability at OSU. The southpaw displayed an effective three-pitch mix on the mound, consistently missing barrels and keeping hitters off balance throughout his outing. His fastball worked with life and complemented well off his offspeed arsenal. Defensively, Boswell flashed athletic actions and solid arm strength, reaching 83 mph from the outfield. With his ability to contribute in multiple roles, Boswell remains an intriguing two-way follow in the 2028 class.
