Uncommitted Spotlight: '26 Regen Mazura

The summer is in full swing, and the Prep Baseball Arizona staff has hosted several events featuring talented uncommitted prospects. So far, we’ve completed three of four Summer ID events, showcasing standout players who earned invites to the Future Games in July. We also wrapped up both Top Prospect Games, which included many high-quality players from the classes of 2026 and 2027, with more Future Games invites handed out.

Our staff has had eyes on hundreds of players this summer, including an in-depth look at those who performed at our events. As the summer continues, we will be highlighting some of the top uncommitted prospects in Arizona who made strong impressions, with our Uncommitted Spotlight Series.

Today, we continue highlighting our summer standouts with a look at ‘26 Regen Mazura. The LHP had one of the stronger outings at the Top Prospect Games, which helped him earn a Senior Future Games invite shortly after. He showed a solid three-pitch mix, all in the zone with consistent command. His fastball sat 85–86 mph, topping at 87, with some carry and generated a number of swings and misses during live action. He paired it with a 70 mph curveball that he used to freeze hitters and a changeup that tunneled effectively off the fastball.

Mazura has also been productive outside of our events, recently throwing 5 innings with 8 strikeouts while representing Arizona in the National Championship Series. He’s scheduled to pitch in Atlanta soon, where he is sure to turn some heads going into his senior year at Canyon Del Oro.

This article will take a closer look at Regen’s recent metrics, scouting videos, and scouting notes.

Scouting Report

5/14/25

Crafty left-hander with feel for a three-pitch mix and strong outing presence. Worked 83–85 and touched 86 with the fastball while leaning on a 73–75 changeup that created swing-and-miss and soft contact. Curveball showed variance at 69–73, occasionally dropping to 66 depending on the count. Shows poise and pitchability with continued room to develop strength and command.
