On Tuesday, July 8th, the PB Texas staff traveled to Dallas Baptist University in Dallas, TX, to host the Top Prospect Games: Dallas, an invite-only event for the class of 2026-2028.

More than 20 players made their way to DBU and participated in a pro-style workout, gathering unrivaled access to data through our state-of-the-art tech partners, as well as in-depth scouting analysis from our Prep Baseball Texas staff.

Today, we will be looking at the top performers from the day.

QUICK HITS

Alfred "Pop" Williams – 2026 | OF/INF | Nederland
Strong, athletic build with present strength. Plus runner (6.6 60 yd) with excellent first-step quickness and base-stealing ability. Showed solid contact in BP and one well-struck ball in game play. Defensively versatile—moves well in the outfield with CF potential. Infield actions point more toward a corner role. Arm projects well. A toolsy player with athletic upside and room to grow.


Ethan Ingram – 2026 | INF/OF | Denton Guyer
Physical with present strength. Ran a 6.71 60 yd showing plus speed. Showed quick hands and strong contact during BP. Game performance was limited by timing issues, but bat speed is evident. Athletic defender with smooth infield actions and ability to make plays from various angles. Arm projects well. Has the tools to impact both sides of the ball and could transition well to the outfield. High-upside athlete with offensive potential.


Cole Muir – 2026 | INF | Walnut Grove
6’2” 180 with a projectable frame. Line-drive hitter with a clean swing and consistent contact—recorded four quality ABs in game play. Sound defender with solid infield actions and positional versatility. Ran a 7.04 60 yd. A well-rounded player who plays the game the right way.


Cameron Ireland – 2026 | RHP | Keller
6’3” 210 with a durable frame and room to grow. Repeats delivery well with arm speed and feel. Topped at 86 (up to 91 in spring) and filled up the zone. Flashed a solid breaking ball with blend at times and a split-change with late action. Strong academic profile. Projects as a college starter with velocity gains expected.


Noah Godwin – 2026 | OF | Van Alstyne
6’4” 190 with a long, athletic build and room to add strength. Ran a 6.96 60 yd. Left-handed hitter who showed impact ability in BP and carried it into game play with loud contact. Flashes raw loft power. Covers ground in the outfield and arm projects with continued development. Intriguing power-speed combo.


Braden Schleifer-Bell – 2027 | OF/LHP | Prosper
5’10” 150 with athleticism and room to add strength. Ran a 6.85 60 yd. Left-handed hitter with a solid approach and clean contact, including a game double. Athletic mover in the OF with quick arm action; projectable arm strength. On the mound, showed feel for three pitches—FB up to 84 with life and a promising slider at 76. Two-way upside with continued physical growth.


Carson Roy – 2027 | OF/2B | Rock Hill
Athletic with room to add strength. Ran a 6.92 60 yd. Showed easy power in BP with loud contact off the barrel. In-game contact was limited due to timing issues from a dead-hand start—fixable mechanical adjustment. Moved well defensively in the outfield. A high-upside player to follow closely.


Hayden Zandt – 2027 | 1B/OF | Waxahachie
6’3” 200 with a strong, projectable frame. Posted a 7.1 60 yd. Quality approach at the plate with a powerful swing. Showed consistent hard contact, including over-the-fence power. Brought presence to the box in game play with barrels. Defensively showed feel at 1B and moved well in the OF. Bat is the carrying tool.


Gramm Davis – 2027 | C/OF | Waxahachie
6’0” 180 with a well-proportioned, athletic frame. Left-handed hitter with a mature approach and gap-to-gap power, especially from the line to RCF. Showed quality receiving behind the plate with pop times as low as 2.02. Also moved well in the OF with carry to throws. Strong left-handed bat paired with defensive versatility—exciting overall profile.


Archer Miller – 2028 | C/INF | Canyon Lake
6’1” 150 with plenty of room to fill out. Showed solid receiving skills in game play. Pop times were strong in workouts and will carry into games with more reps. Developing bat speed and made solid contact in game play. Catcher to follow as he continues to add strength and grow physically.


Jacob Hinojosa – 2028 | INF/RHP | China Spring
Projectable build with strength coming. Displays rhythm and timing at the plate with a consistent, controlled approach. Solid contact in BP and games. Moves well defensively, making plays on the move with a clean arm action. Projectable arm strength. Steady performer who continues to trend upward.
