On July 1st, the Prep Baseball Wisconsin staff hosted the Green Bay Summer ID at Green Bay Rockers Stadium in Green Bay, WI. 20 players participated in a pro-style workout, gathering unrivaled access to data through our state-of-the-art tech partners, as well as in-depth scouting analysis from our Prep Baseball Wisconsin staff.

PITCHERS/ TWO-WAYS

3B Trace Brehmer (Oconto Falls, 2026) is uncommitted and boasts an athletic, strong 5-foot-7, 158-pound frame. At the plate, he impressed with a 95 mph exit velocity, quick hands, and the feel to leverage the ball to all fields. In the field, he shows a steady two-hand gather and throws with carry. On the mound, Brehmer’s fastball reached up to 80 mph, complemented by a heavy-breaking curveball and slider he locates well, along with a changeup that features excellent spin control.

RHP Ty Bumgardner (Notre Dame De La Baie Academy, 2027) is an uncommitted pitcher ranked 67th in Wisconsin’s 2027 class. He stands at a long-levered, projectable 6-foot, 190-pound frame. On the mound, his fastball reaches up to 85 mph, complemented by a 77-79 mph slider he can locate for strikes, and a deceptive 75-77 mph changeup. Bumgardner features an easy delivery with a long, loose arm action.

RHP/INF Carson Gates (Kaukauna, 2026) is an uncommitted two-way prospect who stands at a long and projectable 6-foot-3, 180-pound frame with ample room for continued physical development. On the mound, Gates’s fastball reaches 82 mph and comes out of the hand with ease. He complements it with a swing-and-miss curveball and a well-located changeup. At the plate, he works from a low, relaxed hand position with a simple, up-the-middle approach.

RHP/SS Brayden Jenkins (Kaukauna, 2027) is an uncommitted two-way prospect who stands at an athletic and projectable 6-foot, 170-pound frame with plenty of room to add strength. On the mound, Jenkins moves explosively downhill with a quick, whippy arm. His fastball shows life at 81 mph, and he pairs it with a heavy-breaking curveball and a fading changeup. At the plate, he features a balanced setup and a direct path to the ball, working primarily to the pull side.

RHP/INF Colson Kleinschmidt (Winneconne, 2026) is an uncommitted two-way prospect who stands at a lengthy, long-levered 6-foot-1, 145 pounds, with plenty of room to add strength. On the mound, his fastball topped out at 84 mph, coming out of the hand with ease. He also mixed in a late-breaking 73 mph curveball and a 74 mph splitter that showed swing-and-miss potential. Kleinschmidt is an easy mover with a loose arm. At the plate, he features a simple, rhythmic swing with a feel for lifting the ball to all fields. Defensively, he moves fluidly and shows an 84 mph arm across the infield.

RHP Nik Williams (Marinette, 2027) is an uncommitted pitcher who features a lean 6-foot-1, 161-pound frame with plenty of time to fill in strength. On the bump, his fastball reached up to 83 mph with firm actions. He also utilized a 12/6 curveball at 68-70 mph, a late breaking slider at 68-71 mph, and a 76-77 mph changeup that he located well. Williams possessed an explosive delivery on the mound, working intently downhill while operating from a whippy over-the-top slot.

POSITION PLAYERS

2B/ SS Eli Larson (Bay Port, 2029) is entering high school with plenty of upside. He has an athletic, projectable 5-foot-4, 127-pound frame with significant room for growth. At the plate, his swing stays on-plane with a direct path and a solid feel for the barrel.

OF Carson Tegelman (Appleton North, 2028) is uncommitted in the class of 2028 and has plenty of upside. He stands at a strong 5-foot-11, 209-pound frame. At the plate, he shows strong hands with an easy, leveraged swing and an exit velocity of 91 mph.

OF Beckett Hartlaben (Bonduel, 2026) is an uncommitted outfielder that had an impressive showing in his first ever Prep Baseball showcase. He features an athletic 6-foot, 177-pound frame. At the plate, he showed a middle of the field approach, with strong hands that create leverage. He finished with a 91.6 mph max exit velocity and an 80 mph throwing velocity from the outfield.
