Oregon Uncommitted Spotlight - '26 OF Caleb Babcock
July 14, 2025
As we continue through the summer showcase season, Prep Baseball Oregon features an Uncommitted Spotlight, where we highlight standout performers who have attended a Prep Baseball ID event this year. Uncommitted spotlights are meant to showcase players that Prep Baseball Scouts felt showed standout tools, large improvements in overall game, or potential upside moving forward. College coaches and recruiters should be sure to keep an eye on these prospects in the coming months.
This week, we spotlight '26 OF Caleb Babcock. The junior out of Philomath High School was most recently seen at the Corvallis Preseason ID at Oregon State University this winter.
A 5'11, 190 pound athlete, Babcock's showcase was highlighted by a sub-7 second 60 time as well as exit velocities into the mid-90's. Below is a complete breakdown of the player, including scouting reports and video from the event.
