This summer, the best uncommitted Class of 2027 prospects will head to LakePoint Sports in Emerson, GA for the premier Prep Baseball Report Future Games. For the first time ever, the state of California will be bringing two teams: Team NorCal and Team SoCal. For the next three weeks leading up to the event we will be previewing each player that will be putting their talents on display in front of a plethora of college coaches from across the entire country.

Standing 6-foot-4, Noah Golob is a right-handed pitcher and third baseman from Mira Costa High.

At the Future Games Tryout in Los Angeles, Golob shined both on the mound and in the batter’s box.

Golob’s fastball had the sixth highest max velocity (87.3 MPH) and the second best average spin rate (2304 RPM) of the event.

The righty pairs the fastball with a strong curveball. The pitch registered at an average spin rate of 2560 RPM, which was also the second best average spin rate of the event.

Golob’s arsenal also features a great change-up, which reaches a max velocity of 82.4 MPH.

At the plate, Golob showed off his power with a max exit velocity of 99.5 MPH, which was the fifth highest of the event. His max batted ball distance of 369 FT was the fourth farthest of the event.

Whether it’s as a pitcher or hitter, Golob will be a must see talent in LakePoint later this month.
