This summer, the best uncommitted Class of 2027 prospects will head to LakePoint Sports in Emerson, GA for the premier Prep Baseball Report Future Games. For the first time ever, the state of California will be bringing two teams: Team NorCal and Team SoCal. For the next three weeks leading up to the event we will be previewing each player that will be putting their talents on display in front of a plethora of college coaches from across the entire country.
Standing 5-foot-9, Logan Mull is a right-handed catcher and outfielder from Valley Christian High School. The sixth ranked catcher in all of California is also ranked as the sixty-third best player in the entire state, climbing the ranks after an impressive sophomore campaign for Valley Christian.
In his sophomore season, Mull hit to the tune of a .324 batting average and a .851 OPS.
The backstop also showed off some speed, swiping five bags on the year.
At the NorCal Preseason All-State Event, all of Mull’s talents were on display. Mull, who was ranked as the fifth best catcher of the event. The catcher ran a 7.38 second 60-yard-dash, had a max exit velocity of 97 MPH off the bat, and showed off his pop time which registered at 2.21-2.33 seconds.
LakePoint will be a familiar place for Mull. Two summers ago, Mull represented California at the 2023 Jr. Future Games. Mull gave a strong impression to scouts in attendance with his plate discipline, defense behind the plate, and overall athleticism.
Mull’s ability to be a threat at the plate and perform as a standout catcher makes him a must watch player when he takes the field in LakePoint.
“Mull is another member of the 2023 Team California Junior Future Games squad who found high levels of success on the varsity level in 2025. Mull, a primary catcher, showed his versatility by taking over a spot in the OF for a Valley Christian squad which is amongst the best high school programs in the state of California. Mull had 72 plate appearances in 2025 and the RH hitter posted a .356 average, .940 OPS, walked 10 times, doubled five times, tripled once, drove in 14 runs and scored 12 runs. Mull will be back at the Future Games Tryout: NorCal as he looks to make a return trip to Georgia this time as a member of Team NorCal for the Future Games.” - California Scouting Staff
