2025 Future Games: Louisiana Quick Hits (Pitching)

Alex Armand
Louisiana Scouting Director

Emerson, GA - The 2025 Prep Baseball Future Games were held July 24-27, 2025 at the LakePoint Sports Complex, attracting over 400 college coaches from around the country to scout the nation's top uncommitted talent in the 2027 class.  Prospects from the Bayou State rose to the occasion, putting together an impressive performance during both the workout showcase and three days of high-level competition.  In this piece, we take a closer look at some of the top performances from the Louisiana pitching staff.  Continue to check back over the course of the next few days, as we dive into each position group from the 2025 Future Games.

Lawton Littleton OF / LHP / Barbe, LA / 2027

One of the most productive sophomores in Louisiana this past spring, Littleton entered the 2025 Future Games as a hot commodity—and after his showing at LakePoint, he’s poised for a busy fall on the recruiting trail. The Barbe standout got the nod in Game 1 against Mississippi and was nearly flawless on the mound, with only a couple of defensive miscues preventing a clean stat line. He’s an effortless mover down the mound with a repeatable delivery, and he uses a short, quick arm stroke to release the ball from a ¾ slot. Littleton commanded his 88-90 mph fastball to all four quadrants and showed no hesitation attacking right-handed hitters on the inner-half of the plate. The difference-maker was his sharp 73-76 mph curveball, spinning between 2378-2599 RPM. He consistently landed it for strikes and generated swing-and-miss with the pitch throughout his outing. Littleton also contributed with the bat in two games as a position player, going 2-for-4 with a pair of doubles and a walk. With his two-way impact and advanced feel on the mound, Littleton is squarely on the radar of some of the top college programs across the country.

Kade Luker LHP / 1B / Cedar Creek School, LA / 2027

Luker was outstanding all week at the 2025 Prep Baseball Future Games, solidifying his status as one of the premier left-handed pitchers in the country. The Cedar Creek standout dominated in his Game 3 start against Oklahoma, tossing two scoreless innings with no walks and five strikeouts. Working exclusively from the stretch, he featured a loose and fluid arm stroke from a lower ¾ slot, releasing the ball from a 5-foot release height. That low release height gave his 88-91 mph fastball serious ride at the top of the zone, generating several in-zone misses. He also showed the ability to land a sharp 71-74 mph curveball with “1-7” shape for strikes, and mixed in a late-fading 80-81 mph changeup to keep hitters off balance. Luker’s athleticism was on full display throughout the week, both during the workout and over the course of the three games. He clocked a 6.69 in the 60-yard dash—one of the top times on Team Louisiana—and proved to be a weapon at the plate, going 2-for-6 with 3 RBIs and 3 stolen bases. With his two-way ability and electric stuff on the mound, Luker should be a popular name when August 1st rolls around.

Jack Lee RHP / 1B / Alexandria Senior, LA / 2027

Standing at 6-3, 200-pounds with more physical development still ahead, Jack Lee was one of the breakout stars of the 2025 Future Games. Virtually unknown heading into the summer, the Alexandria Senior High product made his mark at our July 1st Baton Rouge Summer ID event and earned an invite to LakePoint—and he made the most of it. After his dominant performance last week, he’s no longer flying under the radar. Lee took the ball in Game 3 against Oklahoma and delivered two shutout innings with zero walks and four strikeouts. He operated with a clean, efficient delivery and a shorter, powerful arm stroke from a ¾ release. Working quickly and confidently, he pounded the zone with a riding 90-92 mph fastball that overwhelmed hitters and produced consistent in-zone swing-and-miss. While he also featured a 76-81 mph sweeping slider with spin rates in the 2333-2435 RPM range, he rarely needed to use it—his fastball was that dominant. Stories like Jack Lee’s are exactly why we do what we do at Prep Baseball. He’s another rising star from Louisiana who will draw significant attention from college programs once the calendar flips to August 1st.

Greyson Parker RHP / Mandeville, LA / 2027

Parker impressed in Game 1 against Mississippi, tossing two scoreless innings while allowing just one hit, one walk, and striking out two. The Mandeville, LA native moves fluidly down the mound with a loose arm stroke and a ¾ to high-¾ release point. He worked primarily off an 88-90 mph fastball that jumped on hitters thanks to an impressive 7-foot average extension, creating tough timing and late swings. He mixed in a developing mid-70s slider, but his most effective secondary offering was a deceptive 81-82 mph changeup, which he used to record one of his punchouts. With a lean 6-1, 170-pound frame and plenty of physical projection left, Parker is just beginning to scratch the surface of his potential.

Jake Wooten LHP / Parkview Baptist, LA / 2027

Compact and sturdy at 5-10, 175-pounds with a strong lower half, Wooten turned in a solid performance in Game 1 of the Future Games against Mississippi. The Parkview Baptist left-hander worked two innings, allowing one earned run on two hits with one walk and a pair of strikeouts. He operates with a slower-paced delivery and utilizes a longer arm stroke, releasing the ball from a lower 5.1-foot release height that adds deception to his arsenal. Wooten’s fastball sat 84-87 mph with classic arm-side run, creating tough angles for right-handed hitters. He paired it with a sweeping 72-74 mph breaking ball that spun up to 2,800 rpm's and showed good shape and depth. His unique delivery and release profile make him an intriguing follow for college programs looking to add a different look to their pitching staff.

Owen Galley RHP / Sam Houston, LA / 2027

After playing a key role in Sam Houston’s state title run this past spring, Galley wrapped up his summer with a strong showing at the 2025 Future Games. He closed out the final two innings of Game 1 against Mississippi, allowing one earned run on two hits with a walk and two strikeouts. True to form, Galley pounded the zone with a confident three-pitch mix, headlined by an 85-89 mph fastball that he located well to both sides of the plate. He mixed in a mid-70s breaking ball with the ability to manipulate shape, giving hitters different looks, and also showed feel for a late-fading 79-80 mph changeup that he was comfortable throwing to both righties and lefties. Galley is a fierce competitor and proven winner who continues to rise to the occasion when the lights are brightest.

Isaac Boudreaux RHP / 1B / Teurlings Catholic, LA / 2027

At 6-4, 195-pounds with plenty of projection remaining, Boudreaux made the most of his limited action at the 2025 Future Games. Though his outing was shortened due to a minor injury he’d been managing with a blister on his finger, the Teurlings Catholic product still impressed in his lone shutout inning, striking out two. Working exclusively from the stretch and from the first base side of the rubber, Boudreaux strides slightly closed, creating deception and effectively hiding the ball from hitters. He features a loose, whippy arm action and generates easy velocity, sitting 87-89 mph with his fastball, which he located well at the bottom of the zone. He also flashed a developing 82-85 mph cutter with late action and a 79-81 mph changeup with fading life. With his clean arm stroke, present hand speed, and projectable frame, Boudreaux has the ingredients to make big jumps in the near future.

Tyler Roach RHP / Ruston, LA / 2027

With a durable 6’2”, 170-pound frame, Roach stepped up in a big way for Team Louisiana in Game 2 against Arkansas, taking on an extra inning of work and delivering three scoreless frames. The Ruston product allowed just one hit, one walk, and struck out two, showcasing poise and pitchability. Roach works with a longer arm stroke and releases the ball from a high ¾ slot with minimal effort, allowing for repeatability and command. His 83-86 mph fastball featured heavy arm-side sink, consistently missing barrels. He mixed in a bigger, near “12-6” shaped curveball at 72-74 mph with spin rates up to 2,466 RPM, showing feel for the pitch. The true separator, though, was his 77-79 mph split-finger, which showed late dive at the bottom of the zone. With a clean operation and the ability to throw three quality pitches for strikes, Roach profiles well as a future starter.

Lincoln Guillory RHP / OF / Teurlings Catholic, LA / 2027

With a big-bodied 6’3”, 205-pound frame, Guillory was called upon to close out Game 2 against Arkansas—a role he’s familiar with after serving as the closer for Teurlings Catholic this past spring. Over two innings of work, he allowed two earned runs on four hits while striking out one. Guillory worked with tempo and attacked hitters with a fastball that topped out at 91 mph, sitting comfortably in the 86-88 mph range. He mixed in a developing 74-77 mph slider that showed varying shape. With his strong build, competitive edge, and late-game experience, Guillory is a name to watch moving forward.

Cameron Gangi RHP / St. Thomas Aquinas, LA / 2027

At 6-6, 210-pounds with plenty of projection remaining, Gangi turned heads with a dominant outing in Game 2 against Arkansas. The St. Thomas Aquinas product fired two no-hit innings, issuing no walks and striking out three in a highly efficient performance. Gangi operates with a "rock and fire" delivery and releases from a ¾ slot, creating tough angles and deception. His fastball sat 87-89 mph and showed both ride and arm-side run, consistently missing barrels. He displayed impressive confidence in his 73-77 mph slider, landing it for strikes in any count. As he continues to develop and learns to rip it with more intent—especially in put-away situations—it has the potential to become an out pitch. He also flashed a low-80s changeup, rounding out a promising three-pitch mix that points to a future role as a starting pitcher.

Jason DeCuir Jr. RHP / Catholic, LA / 2027

DeCuir Jr. brought one of the most unique looks to this year’s Louisiana Future Games pitching staff. The Catholic High product is an athletic mover with a quick arm stroke, releasing the ball from a lower ¾ slot with a 4.9-foot release height—a trait that gives his 84-88 mph fastball added life at the top of the zone. He paired the heater with a sweeping 70-73 mph slider that moved across the zone and showed feel for a 73-75 mph changeup to round out his arsenal. When DeCuir Jr. filled up the strike zone, he proved difficult to square up, consistently inducing weak contact. With a wiry 6-0, 170-pound frame, there’s plenty of room for continued growth. As he refines his command, his already impressive stuff is only going to tick up—making his ceiling super high.

Koa Romero 3B / RHP / Hahnville, LA / 2027

With a compact, physical 5-foot-9, 220-pound frame, the Hahnville product came in to slam the door in the final two innings of Game 3, locking down a 4-3 win for Louisiana over Oklahoma. He worked with a short, quick arm action and pounded the zone with a lively 87-90 mph fastball that showed true ride through the zone. Romero complemented his heater with a sharp 77-81 mph slider and a spin-killing 78-81 mph changeup with both offerings keeping hitters off balance. He punched out four over two scoreless innings, flashing swing-and-miss stuff and poise under pressure. Whether he slots in as a starter or high-leverage reliever, Romero is poised to be a major piece of Hahnville’s pitching staff next spring.
