6'5" 210 lbs. XL physical frame. We saw Gangi at the beginning of January in a preseason intrasquad and had the chance to see him again last Saturday against Dutchtown. He didn't produce the best results, as he gave up 4 H and 4 ER across 2 IP with 2 BB and 2 K's, but he still provided an intriguing look. He uses an up-tempo "rock & fire" style delivery and releases the ball from a 3/4 slot. His FB ranged 84-87 mph with occasional arm-side run, which he paired with a 72-75 mph "11-5" shaped SL. If Gangi can figure out how to create a little more downward tilt on the baseball and use his 6'5" frame to his advantage, then there's a lot to dream on for the uncommitted sophomore right-hander.
