Emerson, Ga. - Today marked the opening of the best uncommitted Class of 2026 event with prospects arriving to LakePoint Sports in Emerson, GA for the premier Prep Baseball Senior Future Games. California teamed up with the states of Nevada, Oregon and Washington to form Team West Coast. The day consisted of a showcase workout and one game for the group of 14 players representing the state of California.
Position players and two-ways started off with a showcase workout featuring; 60-yard dash on VALD, on field batting practice, defensive workouts and jump testing on VALD. Each of the California players stood out in their own way throughout the day, but these five players stood out for the combined workout performance.

Drew Hamburger SS / 2B / Homestead High, CA / 2026Rankings StateRank: 142 / POS: 32
The lone member of Team West Coast from NorCal represented well with an all-around strong workout. He posted an impressive round of batting practice reaching a peak EV of 96.7 MPH while producing a 50% sweet spot rate with a 67% line drive/fly ball rate during his round. His athleticism was sound with a 24.9" vertical jump and a 6.87 60 yard dash. The 3B worked out well taking grounders at SS with clean hands, consistent footwork and an accurate 83 MPH arm velocity across the diamond. |

Justin Lopez 2B / SS / Villa Park, CA / 2026Rankings StateRank: 114 / POS: 2
Lopez returns to LakePoint after making an impressive first appearance as part of the Team California squad in the 2023 Future Games. Now a member of the Team West Coast roster his batting practice set the tone for a strong day. The compact framed RH hitter blasted a max distance of 388', 100.2 max EV while producing a hard hit rate of 85%. His swing metrics were impressive with a 76.5 MPH bat speed while generating an intriguing 30.7 Gs of rotational acceleration. With an up the middle athletic profile his 60 time was 6.92 with 20.1 MPH max run speed and the actions to match during his INF workout with smooth hands, rhythm in his feet and an accurate throwing arm from a variety of angles. |

Michael Nonis C / 3B / Centennial High, CA / 2026Rankings StateRank: 117 / POS: 14
Nonis was a part of the 2024 Team California Future Games roster and his comfort having been to LakePoint for the event was on display with his sound overall workout. During batting practice he posted a 95.2 max EV while living on the barrel with hard contact all round averaging 90.8 MPH on his exit velocity and a 80% hard hit rate. As well, his throwing from behind the plate was impressive with a low of 1.87 pop times while reaching 79 MPH on his throw velocity living around the bag with all his throws. The toolset for Nonis continues to tick up with his showing at the workout. |

Connor Clayton SS / RHP / West Ranch High, CA / 2026Rankings StateRank: 169 / POS: 35
Clayton will be a two-way at the event, but started off by showing off his strong overall profile as a position prospect. The switch-hitter from West Ranch showed off an improved swing with new tops in bat speed at 74.6 MPH while turning in the swing with 24.6 Gs of rotational acceleration. He peaked at 92.2 MPH on his exit velocity with 67% of his contact being in the air and a max distance 354' while posting a 50% sweet spot rate. Working at SS he showed off clean hands, smooth footwork, an accurate arm with carry from the SS position and a 6.99 60 yard dash time. |
