2025 Junior Future Games Takeaways: Team Wisconsin

The Junior Future Games is officially behind us, and with that comes a multitude of post-event content. Wisconsin as a whole brought down 15 players to represent Team Wisconsin.
Today, we are taking the time to highlight the in-game performances of the players we brought down, adding onto their reports we published from the workout day.
TEAM WISCONSIN JUNIOR FUTURE GAME PLAYERS
OF/ LHP Chase Thomas (Catholic Memorial, 2029)
Thomas showcased the ability to put together some quality at-bats with discipline at the plate, walking twice and creating activity on the base paths. Smooth, compact RH swing out of a short stride. Athletic runner, which played well in the outfield as well as on the basepaths.
Thomas took the mound in game three, showing a repeatable LH delivery as well as the ability to find the strike zone with feel for multiple pitches.
INF/RHP Cael Ebert (Homestead, 2029)
Ebert would end his weekend batting .333 with a pair of singles, including a line drive up the middle in game two and an RBI single with the bases loaded in game three. Line drive approach out of a smooth LH swing with a medium height leg lift. High waisted infielder with natural movements at shortstop, athleticism plays well in the middle of the infield. Plenty of room to continue to gain strength out of a 5-foot-8, 128.5-pound frame.
C/RHP Bentley Henrickson (Lincoln, 2029)
Henrickson’s athleticism stood out behind the plate this weekend, showcasing advanced instincts behind the plate, coming up with multiple big blocks to keep the go-ahead run at third base in game three against Team Southeast. Coil load, backspin tendencies out of a RH swing.
INF/RHP Sutton Nelson (Waupun, 2029)
Projectable 5-foot-10, 149-pound frame, Nelson impressed on the mound, showcasing a fastball with run that consistently missed barrels in the second game against Team Pennsylvania, going two innings, only allowing one hit.
OF/RHP Oliver Peltz (Whitefish Bay, 2029)
The projectable, long levered 5-foot-11, 157.5-pound frame from Peltz would impress down at the Junior Future games, showcasing advanced athleticism in the outfield as well as a quick, compact RH swing. Evident balance throughout the swing, still head, barrel stays in the zone. Peltz would collect a single in-game three, sending a line drive to left-center field.
OF/ LHP Robert Perez II (Bay Port, 2029)
Not only did Perez play with the highest energy all weekend, but the left-hander also brought the hottest bat, ending his weekend 3-for-5 with three singles and a walk. Staying on the barrel all weekend long, Perez was able to work up the middle on a line, with game speed to follow on the base paths. Instinctive movements in the corner outfield positions with arm strength that plays well.
C/INF Chris Worrell Jr. (Oak Creek, 2030)
Worrell showcased advanced movements on both sides of the ball this weekend. The smooth left-handed bat would hit .333 with a pair of singles, working the opposite field. Behind the plate, Worrell would toss out a runner at second, as well as back-picking a runner at second with high awareness and advanced catch-and-throw ability.
INF/RHP Heath Rosemeyer (Fall Creek, 2029)
Evident athleticism on both sides of the ball, strong throwing arm that plays well on the left side of the infield. Quick, aggressive RH swing. Rosemeyer would show well on the mound in game two, tossing three scoreless innings, while only allowing two hits and one walk while striking out four against team Pennsylvania. The right-handed bat would also collect a single on the weekend.
OF/RHP Elijah Johnson (Whitefish Bay, 2029)
Johnson would showcase athleticism that stood out on both sides of the ball with effortless tracking ability in the outfield, as well as the ability to put pressure on the defense on the basepaths. The right-handed bat would put together quality at-bats while also walking in game three, taking a pair of bases with strong instincts.
INF/ RHP Owen Adams (Bay Port, 2029)
Projectable 6-foot, 180-pound frame. Smooth, repeatable RH swing out of a balanced setup. Adams would collect a loud hit in game three against Team Southeast, as he doubled to the pull-side gap to get the bats going for Team Wisconsin. Also collecting a walk on the weekend, Adams would come across to score twice.
INF/RHP Eastin Sorenson (Chippewa Falls, 2029)
Sorenson would produce right out of the gate, with his first at-bat resulting in a hard ground ball back up the middle for a single in game one against Team Virginia. The right-hander would also give a good look on the mound, tossing three and ⅔ innings, allowing two runs while striking out seven. Quick hands from the long levered, high waisted RHH. Wide, balanced stance. Projectable 6-foot-3, 167-pound frame with lots of room to fill out.
INF/RHP Carter Hyland (Waukesha West, 2029)
Hyland showcased an intriguing arm for Team Wisconsin down at the Junior Future Games. Projectable 6-foot-3, 175-pound frame with a whippy arm and long levers on the mound. At the plate, Hyland would come through with an RBI single in game three. The right-hander would also get hit by a pitch in game two and come around to score. Smooth movements in the infield, showcasing the ability to throw from different positions.
INF/RHP Teagan Tate (Oconto Falls, 2029)
Compact RH swing, toe tap load mechanism, Tate showed the ability to find the barrel consistently, finding his first barrel in game one against Team Virginia, lining one back up the middle for a single, ending the weekend batting .400 with two singles.
1B/LHP Trent Demeuse (Preble, 2029)
Demeuse showcased a whippy arm on the mound out of a ¾ slot. Strong 6-foot, 202-pound frame. Effective three pitch mix, and showed feel for all three in his outing against Team Pennsylvania.
INF/RHP Cooper Graham (Mukwonago, 2029)
Graham continued to show why he’s a player to keep an eye on in Wisconsin’s 2029 class. Ending the weekend batting .667 with two singles and a walk, while also driving in a runner during game three. The right-hander would also dominate on the mound, tossing three and ⅔ scoreless innings, allowing only two hits while striking out four in game one against Team Virginia. Strong 6-foot-1, 196-pound frame, calm, confident composure on the mound.
