From Wednesday, July 24, through Saturday, July 27, Prep Baseball hosted the next edition of its prestigious Future Games at LakePoint Sports Complex in Emerson, Ga., featuring the country's best uncommitted talent.

We have already released a Statistical Analysis, highlighting the event’s top performers in the numerous offensive and defensive data metrics.

In this piece, we will be providing scouting takeaways on all of the position players that represented the Lone Star State over the course of last week down at LakePoint.

Drake Hawpe | OF | Liberty Christian | L/L | 6’4” 205
Excellent frame with projection for added strength. Well-proportioned build. Ran a 6.97 60 — expect improved speed with development. Defensively shows the ability to handle all three OF spots with present plus raw arm strength. Developing hitter with present raw power and future WAA projection. Middle-of-the-order upside. Premium 2027 prospect with strong makeup and mature approach. Fun player to follow.

Sebastian Castillo | SS | Byron Nelson | R/R | 6’0” 170
Athletic build with room to add strength. Moves well with body control and agility. Plus runner with quick burst (6.77 60). High-end defensive ability at SS with present arm strength (91 mph) and more coming. Quality approach at the plate with raw power to the pull side and ability to use the entire field. Also touched 91 on the mound at this event; pitching is secondary long-term. Impactful player who consistently helps his team. Premium 2027 prospect with great makeup and instincts.

Lubin Rincon | SS | Shadow Creek | L/R | 6’3” 170
Projectable build with length and quickness. Ran a 6.69 60 at previous events. Plus defensive projection at SS — shows body control, agility, and the ability to make plays on the move. Arm is currently 84 mph across and projects to avg/plus. Solid offensive approach with consistent quality ABs. Line-drive hitter with contact over power for now. Premium 2027 prospect with strong actions and feel.

Selvin Garrett | SS/2B | Buda Johnson | R/R | 5’11” 170
Athletic frame with projection. Ran a 6.99 60; should improve with added strength and could become a plus runner. Defensively shows instincts, range, and fluid actions. Offensively has a sound approach with developing power. Plays hard and competes. Player to watch over the next couple years.

Cole Flashnick | INF | Highland Park | L/R | 6’0” 170
Lean build with room to add strength. Ran a 6.91 60. Moves well and shows infield actions with ability to make plays on the move. Raw arm strength (83 mph) should improve. Missed time due to some soreness this year. Advanced hit approach with feel for the barrel and all-fields contact. Power will come. Shows plate discipline. Projectable player who will continue to develop.

Charlie Heard | C | Woodlands Christian | R/R | 6’1” 200
Solid, well-proportioned build with strength potential. Didn't run the 60 but moves well behind the plate. Shows quick feet and clean exchanges. Pop times down to 2.0 in-game. Steady receiver with reliable hands. Simple offensive approach with solid game contact. Stands out for catch-and-throw ability.

Hudson Cuevas | SS/2B | Cedar Park | R/R | 5’9” 175
Strong, compact build with more strength to come. Ran a 6.92 60 and moves well with agility. Defensively plays both middle infield spots; glove work can still refine. Raw arm strength at 87 mph with carry across the diamond. Pull-side approach with developing pop. Quality ABs and feel to hit. Intriguing player to follow.

Kenson Buth | INF/RHP | Byron Nelson | L/R | 5’10” 160
Athletic frame with strength gains needed. 7.10 60. Excellent baseball instincts. Defensively versatile, fits well at 2B. Contact-over-power profile with a clean swing and solid approach.
On the mound, FB topped at 88 with a 2500 avg spin. Spins a sharp CB (3150+), and CH at 77–78 shows tail/sink. Hitter first with pitching as a strong secondary option. Mature presence with confidence and high baseball IQ.

Jackie Bryant | OF | The Bennett School | R/R | 5’10” 175
Compact build with strength projection. 7.03 60. Corner OF profile — tracks well, likely best suited for LF. Arm should develop to avg. Understated overall tools, but stands out in the box. Simple, efficient swing with barrel feel and pull-side power. A natural hitter who finds barrels consistently.

Ayden Collier | OF | George Ranch | L/L | 5’10” 160
Lean, athletic build. Plus runner (6.73 60) with range in the OF. Profiles as a CF with ability to play all three spots. Arm projects to at least avg. Contact-driven hitter now, with developing pull-side pop. Plays with energy and toughness.

Brandon Brannon | OF | Mount Pleasant | R/R | 5’8” 180
Compact, strong build with athleticism. 6.88 60 (has run 6.61). Can handle all three OF spots with strong defensive instincts. Raw arm strength fits RF. Free swinger with bat speed and present length. Max EV of 101, avg 97. Offensive upside is real. Hard-nosed competitor with upside at the plate.

Drew Cross | C | Mount Pleasant | R/R | 5’10” 185
Physical build with current strength. Improving behind the plate — better setup and receiving. Handles arms well. Strong raw arm with good pop times in the workout. Can control the running game. Has shown in-game power and bat speed. Still refining his approach. Impressed at Future Games with maturity and willingness to learn.

Hudson Holt | 3B/OF | Rockwall | R/R | 6’2” 180
Proportioned build with room to add strength. Plus runner (6.78 60). Defensively versatile — plays 3B and RF. Plus raw arm from the OF, steady actions at 3B. Competitive at-bats in games. Power coming. Belief in long-term bat/power combo. Strong makeup and work ethic.

Hudson Leonard | OF/1B | Sunnyvale | L/L | 6’3” 190
Athletic frame with projection. Plus runner (6.74 60) with more speed likely to come. Made a strong offensive impression with pull-side power in BP and quality in-game ABs. Can defend in the OF and at 1B. Arm strength should improve. Shows ability to adjust and compete in the box. High-upside player still growing into his game.

Reed Blakely | OF | Lovejoy | L/L | 6’1” 185
Lean frame with room to fill out. Avg runner (6.97 60) with a chance to improve. Corner OF profile with arm strength that should tick up. Line-drive hitter with solid setup and swing path. Developing tools — player trending upward.

Bentley Seeberger | C/RHP | Lubbock Cooper | R/R | 6’1” 205
Strong build with physicality. Showed big arm strength behind the plate — good pop times in workout. Receiving remains a work in progress. Offensive tools present; swing has some length and showed some swing and miss this week. Strength and raw tools are there.

Lane Johnson | OF | Westlake | L/R | 6’2” 205
Strong, athletic frame. Plus runner (6.83 60) with avg quickness. Capable defender at all OF spots. Routes and reads are solid. Arm projects to avg — profiles in RF. Clean setup and pull-side power potential. More power coming. Player with upside and projection.

Braden Durett | C/1B | Ridge Point | R/R | 6’3” 185
Good frame with strength potential. Didn’t run at event (7.30 in past). Posted 1.90 pop times. Received well during games. May have been dealing with some soreness. Contact-first hitter with a line-drive approach. Power will develop. Multiple hits in games — will continue to trend upward.

Hector Cadena | INF | United | R/R | 5’10” 205
Strong, compact build with room to add more. Plus runner (6.67 60). Defensively shows solid actions; arm will be at least avg. At the plate, impacts the baseball — 107 max EV. Homered in-game with power to the pull side. Toolsy player with upside and physicality.

Truett Allen | INF/OF | Second Baptist | R/R | 6’1” 210
Strong, athletic frame. 6.89 runner. Shows defensive versatility and a plus arm (92 mph OF throws). Competitive ABs throughout Future Games — multiple hits including a triple to RCF. Compact swing with barrel feel. Consistent performer with solid overall toolset.

Cash Clayton | OF | The Woodlands | R/R | 6’5” 205
Long, athletic frame with projection. 7.02 60 (has been 6.88 prior), with a chance to develop into a plus runner. Avg arm strength now (92 mph). Solid approach with plate discipline. Power will continue to come as he fills out. Big projection bat — exciting upside.

Easton Brunson | OF/1B | Goose Creek | L/R | 6’0” 190
Strong, athletic build. 6.93 60. Moves well in the OF and shows avg arm strength. Clean, quiet swing with quick hands. Solid contact and competitive ABs throughout. Dependable presence in the lineup with future offensive upside.

Grant Stanford | INF | Lufkin | L/R | 5’10” 175
Athletic build with room to add strength. 7.05 60. Smooth mover with body control and solid infield actions. Arm works and projects to avg. Left-handed bat with a contact-first approach; power is developing to the pull side. Player to follow.
