Toronto Summer Invite: Positional Data Dive

Cam Black-Araujo
Assistant Director, Canada

On Wednesday, July 16th, the Prep Baseball Ontario staff hosted it's lone event of the summer season with the annual Toronto Summer Invite, hosted at Connorvale Park in Etobicoke, Ontario.

This event featured roughly 30 prospects in the 2026 - 2029 classes and it allowed players a chance to showcase themselves in a low pressure, outdoor environment while updating their metrics, data and profiles for collegiate coaches to view as the commitments continue to roll in and the August 1st window for 2027s creeps closer.

All player ran through a full workout that included batting practice and bullpens captured on our TrackMan, as well as a 60-yard and splits captured by VALD Performance and positional metrics.. Over the next several days we'll be highlighting top performers from the event within our post-event analysis. Stay locked into our social media channels over the next several days as we continue to push out video, leaderboards and more.

Earlier this week, we broke down the top measurable data performers from the event with our Statistical Analysis and Pitching Data Dive. Now, we conclude our post-event coverage within this Positional Data Dive as we take a look at the top TrackMan Hitting and VALD Performance running data.
