Physical: XL 6-foot-6, 240lb frame with projection and strength carried in all phases. 8.52 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH - Wide, balanced attack in the legs with the hands starting high with slight rhythm to start. Utilized a short lift and replace stride to initiate the bat head through a flat, direct path into the zone. Extended well, staying over the backside with minimal extra upper-half movement in the swing; showed well during a connected batting practice round, yielding a 40% line drive rate (via Trackman) and sprayed hard barrels over the middle of the field. Matched pitch-plane out of the hand and found success using leverage at the contact point out towards the front of the plate; posted a T89 mph bat-exit velocity and 310 foot batted ball distance suggesting doubles power.
Defensively: The first baseman flashed adequate feel around the bag, featuring a soft glove hand out in front while bending at the waist from a higher-posture. Funneled inward as the feet got to a shoulder-width base, working in-line before releasing from a quicker ¾ slot (76 mph arm, medium intent).
Pitching: RHP - Started off the far left side of the rubber with a balanced stack position, driving down the slope with some tempo into footstrike, landing with crossfire at H ¾. Created a tough angle into the strike zone on a heavy 80-81 mph FB. Mixed a 72-74 mph SL with horizontal tilt and ability to drop in for strikes; later added a 72-74 mph CH showing developing actions.
Pitching: Controlled pace; fundamental, balanced delivery with a repeatable release and follow through. FB: Works downhill with some life out of the hand and up to 14/5"arm side run. CB: Early break out of the hand with 11-5 shape and a good feel for the zone. SL: Shorter, tight lateral break. CH: Good hand speed with some arm side fade.
Physical: Large, long 6-foot-6, 240 lb frame
Pitching: Fundamental, easy effort delivery with a leg lift above the belt at a tall stack, strides out in line finishing over a strong front side. Long arm action with some whip to a natural 3/4 release.
FB: Commands in the zone flashing arm side run up to 15". CB: Tends to back up with early break. SL: Similar to CB with 4.6" horizontal break. CH: Kills the spin with some arm side fade
Physical: 6-foot-6, 240 pounds; large bodied, physical frame. 8.35 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Neutral stiff legged stance, high hands; weight shift on back leg letting his front foot hang until he was ready to plant and swing. Active lower half, hip clearance was consistent with a long swing path, shot hands backward and got around the ball. Displayed a 93 mph exit velocity while sending many hard hit balls to his pull side; peak Trackman exit velocity of 91 MPH.
Defensively: Slightly bent at the waist, leaning over his toes; quick off the bag, could be quicker if he turns glove side when fielding a double play. Good hands and a clean transfer; threw from a snappier, lower slot at first . INF - 73 MPH.
Pitching: Uses height well and strides far down the slope. Long, loose arm action at a fairly low effort. FB: T 79MPH, 72-76 MPH. Was able to place fastball in the zone consistently, corners especially. CB: 65-67 MPH. Curveball has good speed and shape when he was able to command it lower in the zone. CH: 68-70 MPH. Showed confidence in a changeup that stayed in the zone, good change in speed and maintained good depth.
