Physical: Compact, physical 5-foot-9, 165-pound frame with present feel for his body. Ran a 7.74 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH. Slight bend in the knees in a normal, easy setup; hands started idle at the shoulder with a minor backward move for the load coupled with a repeatable lift and replace stride as the timing mechanism. Entered the hitting zone through a slightly uphill path allowing for lift to the pull-side gap and hard barrels at the front of the plate. Sat into a strong backside very well during a quality round of batting practice and the hands worked well through the contact point, towards extension generating plenty of whip and barrel speed into the zone. Hit into a stiff front side recording a 93 mph bat-exit velocity per Trackman Baseball.
Defensive: The primary outfielder played low to the ground with a moderate pace during defensive evaluations. Fielded the ball off of his left foot on the ground with repeatable transfers allowing the arm to work through a high ¾ slot with a moderate takeaway on the backside. Adequate footwork arrived on time to the baseball creating some momentum towards the target.
Physical: 5-foot-9, 165-pounds. Solid, athletic frame.
Run: 7.19 runner in the 60. stays inline.
Hit: RHH. Balanced stance with bent knees, hands on top of shoulders, medium leg kick Quick, direct barrel path, finishes on an uphill plane with a high two-handed finish.
Power: 93 MPH raw exit velocity. Consistent loud contact to pull side.
Defense: Aggressively attacks the baseball with choppy footwork, fields the ball on his back foot and flows into a big crow hop.
Arm: Long arm swing with a high effort over the top slot, good carry. OF - 82 MPH.
At the plate, the right handed hitter stands in the box in a wide athletic stance with a slight bend in the knees. The 2021 graduate sprayed the ball all over the field during his batting practice round at the Last Chance Event. Defensively, the 2021 graduate worked out in the outfield. Displayed an aggressive approach to the baseball. Fields the baseball slightly off center. Works with a quick exchange to quick release from a high 3/4 arm slot.
