Physical: 5-foot-9, 150 pounds; sturdy, broad shouldered frame. 7.91 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Slightly open front side with bent knees and hands settled up near the ear; fairly large lift and replace with hands that shoot backward. Active lower half, propels himself into the pitch through his already loaded back side with uphill swing path, showed some adjustability in the swing depending where the pitch was. Hit the ball well to the left side of the field, lifted the ball very well during his round of BP; peak Trackman exit velocity of 84 MPH.
Defensively: Low in his crouch, slightly angled off to aid in quick throw to second; jumps out of the crouch with good speed and gains ground to the target. Soft hands that worked through the ball, easy transfer; short,quick arm action from the ear. 2.25-2.31 pop times. C - 66 MPH.
