Physical: 5-foot-9, 155 pounds; lean, slender frame. 8.17 runner in the 60.
Offensively: LHH. Open stance with a counter rotated torso and a flat bat on his shoulder. Uses a big barrel whip to initiate movement in his hands, takes a big stride forward, keeping his front hip closed. Clean movements out of the lower half, smooth but fast rotation from the hips with a downhill barrel path that strikes the bottom of the ball, inducing clean backspin. Hit line drive to all parts of the field, showed opposite field pop; peak Trackman exit velocity of 81 MPH.
Defensively: Narrow feet with weight shifted on his toes, angled off slightly; shifts feet quickly, stays light on them and moves well out to the target. Soft hands with a long transfer, initiates transfer in front of his body; short arm swing, whippy actions in the arm from a 3/4 slot. 2.37-2.39 pop times. C - 68 MPH.
Physical: 5-foot-9, 155-pounds. Lean, athletic build.
Run: 8.09 runner in the 60.
Hit: LHH. Stands tall with open stance and hand up and back, smooth stride back to even with a little waggle in the load as the hands get back Smooth direct path to contact with some up extension through the zone to a high finish.
Power: 77 MPH raw exit velocity. Consistent line drive contact through the middle of the field.
Defense: 2.2-2.5 pop times. Sets up with slight angle to glove side, upper body comes up quick with steady footwork gaining some ground with feet landing in line with target.
Arm: Consistent transfer, draws back short arm action with 3/4 release. C - 69 MPH.
Athletic 5-foot-9, 155 pounds C. Offensively- tall open stance with a slight armbar when timing up the pitch. Smooth bat path, gap to gap contact, with an upright balanced finish. Had an exit velocity of 70 MPH. Defensively- good stance, soft hands, and above average transfer on the exchange. Follows the throw through the target. Improved in the 70 MPH throw to 2B and pop time of 2.28-2.35. The 2021 C has room to grow with the bat and behind the plate.
Stands 5-foot-9, 145-pounds well built frame. Offensively- In the box, slightly open set up with loose hands. Lift in the swing path to his pull-side. Stays balanced thru contact. Loose and relaxed rhythm in his load. 70 MPH exit velo with signs of more to come. Defensively- wide open base, soft hands receiving, average footwork, 68 MP arm-strength with a 2.28 pop time to second base.
