Physical: Lean, developing 5-foot-4, 130-pound frame with room to add size and strength yet. 7.63 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: LHH. Started from a balanced, slightly open stance with quick rhythm in the hand just above shoulder height. Utilized a leg lift stride in order to initiate the bat head through a flat path into the hitting zone. Tight turns with a short path towards impact, hit into a stiff front side with feel for the top hand during his batting practice round. Notched a 78 mph bat-exit velocity giving way to an impressive 75% line drive rate per Trackman Baseball. Table setter approach with the ability to hit it where it’s pitched; room to continue improving the exit velocity as he keeps holding strength.
Defensively: The primary middle infielder approached with calculated actions over the toes from a medium posture, soft glove hand worked off the center of his body and corralled inward, getting the body straight line towards the target. Released through a short, accurate high ¾ slot with some fluidity to it (73 mph) relegating him to a second base spot for now.
