Physical: 6-foot-2, 185 pounds; Athletic, wiry build. 7.54 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Even setup, with feet just outside his shoulders; upright bat position. Drops hands on the way back with a slight leg-kick for timing. Stays behind the ball while showing an aggressive lower half. Showed a direct swing path with a two handed finish. More line drives than flyballs and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 89 MPH via Trackman.
Defensively: Starts with a balanced setup; static during pre-pitch while stays low while receiving. Hands work through the ball while staying low during transfer. Short take back from a high 3/4 arm slot. 1.97-2.03 pop times. C - 77 MPH.
Physical: 6-foot-1, 165 pounds; lean, lanky frame. 7.83 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Narrow stance with low hands and an upright bat; strides forward and launches off the back foot, pushes the hands back and slightly tips the barrel to the pitcher. Above average use of the lower half, gets the back hip turned quickly and powerfully with uphill swing with a quality barrel turn to deliver the barrel to the pitch on time. Lifted the ball effectively to the pull side, sprinkled some opposite field line drives in as well; peak Trackman exit velocity of 83 MPH.
Defensively: Sits low into the crouch with narrow feet, reaches the glove arm out toward the pitch; Moves his feet with intent to the target, makes it a point to keep his feet under him as a good base. Soft hands that receive the ball well into a clean transfer; short arm action from the ear, get good downhill mechanics with his shoulders. 2.08-2.15 pop times. C - 73 MPH.
