Ran a 7.14 60 yard dash from his 5-foot-11, 145-pound frame, projectable. 76 mph arm strength from the OF, 3/4 slot with accuracy to the bag. Uses his lower half well to transfer weight into throws. In the box, slightly open stance with a small leg raise for timing. Slight hand trigger in load. 77 mph bat speed with a consistent swing path.
Crusaders Workout (February 10, 2018)
Gonzalez is a 5’11” 145 pound OF with a wiry frame.  He ran a 7.21 60 and a Home to 1st time of 4.13. Offensively- Employs a slight open stance with weight evenly distributed.  Uses a slight leg kick into the load phase of his swing. Lower half could be more aggressive as hands work to the ball.  Exit velocity was 80 MPH off the tee; showed ability to produce line drives and was able to use all parts of the field.  Defensively - Solid OF with good instincts. OF velocity 81 MPH with easy effort from a low slot. Accurate on-the-bag throws with quick release. Previous outdoor event showed the ability to track and move well to the ball. Strong foundation from which to grow.
ENY All-Star Games (September 17, 2017)
Gonzalez stands in at 5-foot-10, 140-pounds with a lean athletic frame. Offensively- Righty sets up square to the pitcher with his feet outside shoulder width. Shows a slight knee bend with an upright torso hold the bat in front of the back shoulder using little pre-pitch bat movement. On pitch, his trigger is a quick stride forward while his hands move back slightly into his hitting position. Utilizes good lower body rotation clearing the hips using his whole-body frame in the pitch. Shows quick hands into the hitting zone with upward lift barrel action throughout into a high two-handed finish. Demonstrated potential gap to gap power during batting practice round with clean fluid swings. Recorded an exit velocity of 75 MPH. Defensively- Good footwork and approach getting underneath the baseball. Shows smooth crow hop mechanics gaining ground throughout the throw. Could throw downhill more towards intended target. Moves well left/right and in on the run. Recorded a positional arm velocity of 77 MPH.
