Elijah Powell: RHP/OF, (2025) Albany Academy, NY. 183-pound solid frame. Capable at the plate, Powell had a max exit velocity of 82 mph. (63.2 mph bat speed average). (18.3 mph hand speed average). Started in a balanced wide stance with a controlled load, then used a small stride. Bat speed was developing, showed a long flat swing plane and good extension on his finish. He barreled up some balls with some loud contact. Line drive approach. Projectable recorded an outfield position velocity of 87 mph; had developing consistent footwork, developing soft hands, and a natural exchange. Laterally, movements were developing and fielded the ball to the side. Decent accuracy to the bases, used a ¾ slot with a quick arm action. Projectable on the mound, using a consistent quick arm action he showed developing quick arm speed from a ¾ arm angle. Up-tempo type pitcher and uses max effort. Displays in line shoulders and a consistent balance point. Lands closed with a falling off finish. Threw his fastball 78-79 mph; showed running sinking action and command arm side around the zone. More flyballs than line drives and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 83 MPH via Trackman.
