Physical: Projectable, lengthy and high-waisted 6-foot-1, 177lb frame. 7.18 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: LHH - Wider, even stance with the hands operating in rhythm on the shoulder. Utilized a short leg lift stride to initiate an efficient swing into the hitting zone through a slightly uphill, slotted path. Stayed over the rear hip, turning the bat effortlessly with ability to reach towards impact, creating extension to the pull-side for big time juice. Posted a T92 mph bat-exit velocity en route to a near 330 foot batted ball distance (extra-base hits) with more juice on the way. Notched a 36% line drive rate with ability to hit for average and consistently find the barrel.
Defensively: The primary third baseman moved cleanly to his left, showcasing a soft glove hand and immediate, fluid trigger from a lower ¾ slot (moderate intent, 75 mph arm, good pace). Continued to gain advantageous positions on the ball, bending over the front side and corralling with confidence in the middle of his body. Handled the play on the run accurately to the bag.
