Physical: 5-foot-9, 173 pounds; Athletic, proportional build. 7.55 runner in the 60.
Offensively: Switch hitter. Open setup, with feet shoulder width apart; bat positioned at a 45 degree angle. Drops hands on the way back with a moderate leg kick for timing. Stays behind the ball while showing a strong lower half. Showed a slight lift to the ball with a two handed finish. More flyballs than line drives and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 92/88 MPH via Trackman. Impressive blast metrics all around netting consistently powerful distances.
Defensively: Starts with a balanced setup; uses prep hop while showing active feet. Hands are soft while funneling to the hip before transfer. Short take back from a low 3/4 arm slot. INF - 82 MPH. Covers ground with efficiency, shows soft hands and plus arm strength.
Physical: Lean, athletic 5-foot-9, 160lb frame with feel for his body and room to add strength. 7.33 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: Switch-hitter - mirrored from both sides staying bent in the knees as the hands stretched back to the shoulder. Utilized a lift and replace stride to a wide attack, launching through a flat path into the hitting zone. Good rotational strength, generating consistent barrels to the pull-side gap during batting practice (47% fly ball rate via Trackman). Recorded a near 330 foot batted ball distance with doubles power available and worked up to a T87 mph bat-exit velocity. Some top of the order type traits with good bat to ball skills and ability to manipulate and match pitch-plane out of the hand.
Defensively: The shortstop featured feel to his glove hand side, showing right-left right-left footwork before fielding off his left side. Quicker trigger from a ¾ slot, getting in/out of the glove on the exchange, staying in line and releasing up to 79 mph. Able to change slots on the run, throwing accurately across his body; made all the plays necessary with some pace.
Pitching: RHP - Started off the far left side of the rubber with tempo to the delivery and separation down the slope. Found a balanced stack maintaining direction with good sequence into footstrike. H ¾ slot and entered the zone at 81-83 mph (arm-side run, strikes, lower release height). Mixed a shorter 68-71 mph CB on a 10/4 tilt showing gradual shape across the plate.
Physical: Strong / advanced physicality in solid 5-foot-8, 145-pound frame. Athleticism flashed throughout, 7.21 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: Switch hitter. Bent, even stance with the knees facing inward as the hands started on the shoulder. Mirrored from the left side with similar actions throughout the swing, started slightly more open.Utilized a deep move back behind the shoulder coupled with a lift and replace stride to initiate the hands through a whippy, slightly uphill barrel path into the hitting zone. Demonstrated the ability to enter the zone early and often matching pitch plane well on the initial part of the swing, jolted the hands towards impact and liked to get extended from both sides. Showed solid juice from both sides but projects with slightly more power as a RHH and feel overall, recorded a peak bat-exit velocity of 94 mph per Trackman Baseball while hitting into a stiff front side / impressive 345 maximum batted ball distance.
Defensively: The primary shortstop featured average footwork with quick, choppy actions on the approach, liked to attack the baseball but sometimes lost momentum towards the first base bag in doing so, semi-stiff glove hand, feel for transfers, and an accurate high ¾ arm-slot with a moderate arm circle on the release. INF - 76 mph
Pitching: RHP - Started from the middle of the rubber, deliberate / short side rocker step, medium-high leg lift with minor hip coil at the top, quality backside leg drive out towards the target, got over the front side with a stab in the arm action on the backside of a high ¾ release (medium arm circle). FB ranged from 78-81 T82 mph with high level hand speed and an upwards of 2100 spin per Trackman Baseball, mixed in a solid 68-69 mph breaker showing short, late 11-5 shape to it.
Physical: S/R, 5-foot-8 pounds; muscular, athletic frame. 7.37 runner in the 60. Offensively: Switch Hitter. Wide open stance from the right side, slightly open from left side; hands load straight back with a hang & go stride from the right side, uses toe tap from left side. Strong lower half, stays behind the ball well with slightly longer swing, more speed from right side. Middle of the field approach; peak Trackman exit velocity of R 88 L 85 MPH. Defensively: Athletic position, low to the ground; choppy, active footwork. transfers through mid-section; high 3/4 slot. INF - 76 MPH. Pitching: Compact, knee to chest repeatable delivery . Long arm action with a high 3/4 arm slot. FB: T 80 MPH, 74-77 MPH. Good induced vertical break, good carry. CB: 63-67 MPH. 11-5 shape, tight spin. CH: 69-72 MPH. Kills spin well.
