Henry Vail: RHP/2B, (2026) Bronxville, NY. 6-foot-2, 155-pound lean athletic build. Projectable in the box, the right-handed hitter had a max exit velocity of 82 mph. (68.3 mph bat speed average). (20.2 mph hand speed average). Started in a balanced athletic stance with a tight compact load, then used a controlled big leg kick. Had a level loose swing plane, electric bat speed and high finish. Found multiple barrels with tons of loud contact. Gap to gap aggressive approach. Above average while in the infield, registered his best throw across the diamond at 78 mph; has a twitchy exchange, athletic feet, and sure hands. Movements laterally were athletic and he fields the ball out front. Consistent accuracy to the bases, used a high ¾ slot and a loose arm action. Clocked a time of 7.54 in the 60-yard dash. Above average projectable on the mound, showed quick arm speed, he had a long loose arm action and a high ¾ arm angle. Tall-and-fall stretch only type pitcher and shows easy effort. Downhill in line shoulders with a strong balance point. Lands square with an athletic balanced finish. Sat with his fastball at 80-82 mph; shows command both sides of the plate down in the zone with heavy movement. (Max spin 2196; Avg 1941). Threw a 1/7 curveball (70-71) that showed glove side command and slurvey late action. (Max spin 1408; Avg 1313). His changeup (69-71) had arm side control and fading swing and miss action. Love the projection off the mound.

Pitching: Uses a glove side setup while using a side step. Belt high leg drive with a slight lean over the belt. Has a long stride landing inline with the plate. Long arm swing while arm stays in line with 2B; standard 3/4 slot. Spins off 1B side with finish. FB: Peak velo of 81 MPH, while sitting 78-80 MPH; plays up in the zone. CB: 70-71 MPH; showed depth. SL: 72-74 MPH; tilting break. CH: 77-78 MPH; fading action. Commands both sides of the plate.
Physical: 5-foot-10, 150 pounds; Slender, wiry build. 7.48 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Even setup, with feet wide spread; bat positioned at a 45 degree angle. Loads straight back with a moderate leg kick for timing. Slides weight forward pre-contact. while showing an aggressive lower half. Showed a downward swing path with a a high finish. More flyballs than line drives and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 79 MPH via Trackman. Downward swing path creates plus rotational acceleration metrics.
Defensively: Starts with a compact setup; uses prep hop while showing active feet. Hands are soft with a seamless transfer. Short take back from a standard 3/4 arm slot.  INF - 69 MPH. Natural athleticism present.
Pitching: Uses a glove side setup while using an angled drop step. Belt high leg drive with a slight coil away from the plate. Has a long stride while landing slightly closed. Long arm swing while arm wraps behind the body; standard 3/4 slot. Square to the plate with finish. FB: Peak velo of 75 MPH, while sitting 73-75 MPH; arm side run with sink. CB: 65-67 MPH; lands for strikes. OTHER: KN 59-60 MPH.Fastball showed plus spin and above average movement.
